Worth the price!

Posted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was spacious, clean and in a convenient location. They were doing some renovations to the outside so they try to keep up. Inside could have been vacuumed more frequently in the game room. There were always leaves & debris making it look sloppy. There was also an ice machine, microwave and vending machine in game room, which was ideal for family/ cost savings. Fridge in room was helpful too. I would recommend as worth the cost we paid on hotels.com. We previously stayed at ambassador which was 2x the price with nicer grounds, a fancier interior entrance, no fridge in A smaller room. Their breakfast was a convenience, but stop & shop & D&D are not far either. No special items.

Poor hotel, situated directly on the highway.

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Outside maintenance and a watchful eye on what guests, and non-guests, are doing on the grounds.
Location: The location was close to the event we were attending, so it worked out in the respect.
When we arrived, I thought I was at a Carribbean festive with the cuban and spanish music blasting and a group of approximately 70 non-english speaking people partying in the parking lot. Very loud. Very obnoxious. The next morning, there was trash everywhere. Couldn't wait to escape and head home. One night there was enough for me. Will NEVER return.

Pros: see above
Cons: ALL OF IT - very old!
Location: see above
3 pools, 2 outside, 1 inside, old, old, old establishment, no blow dryer, shampoo etc.I would say that this hotel is 'adequate', which is stretching it a little. Close to entertainment, shops, consignment stores (excellent) Dunkin' Donuts, nice eating establishments, several miniature golf courses. All in all, this motel needs some serious updating. Oh yes, it was very clean but needs some TLC. Back of door in bathroom had a 'hole' punched in it.

Pros: every thing but coffee cup size
Cons: coffee cup size
Location: right in the heart of cape Hyanis area
the 4 pools were all clean and plenty of seating. They were never crowded, and not to loud! room service was good. The only disappointment, coffee cups were to small. However with 7/11 on one side and dunkin dounuts on the other, no problem. 7/11s coffee is better and cheaper.

Right place as home base

The hotel is conveniently located in the hart of things. The hotel is old but in good condition. The staff were very friendly. A good value for the money. We've been staying there for years.

Good Location...but that's where the good ends.

Pros: The location and priced were right!
Cons: UPDATES!!! The mattresses would be the number one thing I would replace, then the carpets and curtains. Then upgrade the bathrooms.
Location: I LOVE this area! Go to Timmy's Roast Beef, Captain Parker's Pub and the Keltic Kitchen! Great Food!!!
Very Disappointed! Terrible mattresses. Strong odors of cleaning products. Dirty carpets. Peeling tub floor. Weak air conditioner. Unhelpful Staff. Missing window screen.

Good value for the money

I stayed at Town and Country years ago and I was satisfied but I was pleasantly surprised to see it had improved from what I remember. The grounds and pools were well kept and the room was spotless and smelled fresh. It was an ideal location with a short walk to several restaurants. We stayed for three nights midweek for a fraction of the cost of other similar motels in the area.

The hotel was pleasant--2 outdoor pools and one indoor. However, I found that it was very far away from Dennisport, Harwich and other surrounding areas. I did not like the location of the room I stayed in, as it was in back of the main building.

Great location.. get what you pay for

You get what you pay for at the Town and Country. It was extremely convenient to everything... in walking distance of Dunkin' Donuts, the liquor store, the beach etc. Will definitely stay again just wish they would update the rooms.
