“Good value for Cape Cod”
Nothing fancy but room was clean. Didn't have microwave, which was a bummer but did have a mini fridge. Not much time spent in room...hey, we're on vacation to relax and see things, not hang out at the hotel so this was just fine for us. Good deal. Excellent location, right on the main road. Will definitely stay again.
“Bring Your Air Freshner !!!!!”
Looked O.K. from outside but room was smelly, dark, and had not ever been renovated. Put on backside of motel causing some fear. Left after one night forfeiting second night fee. Don't stay here.
“Was a GREAT Stay! Would highly recommend. Great Rates!”
Staff was very friendly. There was 3 heated pools, 2 outside and 1 inside. Bedding was clean, AC worked great. Rates you could not beat. Rooms were clean but could use some upgrading...but for the price it was well worth it. Frig in room, clean towels with many extras. Downfall: No Coffee Pot...bring your own. Coffee in the lobby 24 hrs a day. I am looking forward to returning within the next couple of months. Will surely book for next year. For the rate of the room, you are getting more that expected. I am one happy customer!
“Need more improvement in rooms”
Disappointed with bathroom shower because shower curtain took up half the space of the bathtub. When I checked out I suggested they use a curved shower rod. Very shocked when I took the pillow case off of one of the pillows and saw what I thought looked like blood stains. I told the hotel manager when I checked out and suggested they throw out the pillows every 6 months and replace with new ones. I even noticed yellow sweat stains on the pillow too.
“Decent”
Nice place to stay
“Stay Away”
Very rude, sarcastic manager. Staff seemed to view guests as inconvenience or annoyance. Cleaning staff dumping waste water at most inconvenient locations - mid parking lot where people are walking; through balcony. Bathroom rusted; unclean and in need of renovation. Rooms smelly; poorly-lit; carpet in need of replacement.
“Perfect budget hotel”
Town and country is the perfect hotel if you want a good location for not a lot of money. It is fairly bare bones, definitely not updated, but it is well maintained for what they have. It was perfect for a few nights and using it as our base for going to different points on the cape since it is fairly centrally located. It is close to a variety of different things (beach - still need to drive or bike though, restuarants, activities).
“Convenient to Hyannis and very reasonable”
This was a busy place but well kept, and the pools were terrific. Very clean and safe. Our room on the back of the hotel was wonderfully quiet.
“fine, could take or leave it”
There were spiders in the room. The beds weren't long enough to sleep comfortably in. I'm 5'6" and my husband is 6'. I was on the end of the bed. I had to go and get towels and wash cloths the second day, because they took our used towels, but never gave us more. Just left the unused towels in the rack. The bed spread was dirty, and when pulled down the first night therr was a spider under the covers. When awoken in the middle of the night, there was a spider hanging over my head hanging from the light fixture. Lastly there was not enough light in the room.
“Can't recommend”
Chose this hotel because we needed a good price & it was a last minute trip. 24 hour sale + expedia coupon made it a deal too good to pass up. This hotel is a dump. Badly in need of updating, renovation. Room had a horrible smell due to overuse of cleaning products that were obviously used to mask even worse smells. Maid service did not clean our room one of the days, even though we reminded the front desk to send someone. People would leave piles of trash outside their rooms in the exterior hallways. Coffee in the lobby but it's terrible. The one good thing about this hotel is the pools. Pretty well maintained & there are 3 of them. Also, the hotel is right on Rt. 28 which is the main route to the hospital in Hyannis, so constant ambulance sirens. Do yourself a favor...Pay a little more to stay off the main route @ a place that's a little nicer.
