“Gorgeous Victorian elegance”

This is just a beautiful old mansion. Every room is unique. If you love Victorians, you'll love this place. I'm not sure if it is air-conditioned, although my husband saw compressors. Our room was not, but it was Labor Day weekend and it wasn't all that hot. We were comfortable. So if air conditioning is important to you, then check first. We were not able to partake of the breakfast as we had to catch a VERY early ferry (breakfast starts at 8AM). But there were snacks available on our arrival.

We have stayed here twice now, as it is an easy drive to Cape May, and not far from the zoo. Less expensive than Cape May B&B's, yet similarly Victorian. Locale is uninspiring. Breakfast is included and is tasty though not fancy, and our special diets were accomodated. Having new restaurant on premises was convenient, but made our first-floor room near front door seem less private (noise, lights on porch). Disappointed in tv service--only about 7 stations, including 2 sports and 1 Hispanic-language.

“Doctors Inn, Cape May Courthouse--very nice B&B”

Love Cape May NJ? My husband and I do, and appreciate the work involved in caring for unique older homes. We especially enjoy browsing the variety of B&B's Cape May offers. Doctor's Inn is in Cape May Courthouse, a short drive from Cape May, so we could still enjoy an evening stroll without the prospect of a long drive back, but of course, not so convenient as just walking back to our B&B. We did take advantage of the Courthouse location to stop at the local (free but make a donation) zoo on our way home. However, Cape May Courthouse is generally less interesting than Cape May, with fewer tourist amenities and programs. Doctors Inn cost somewhat less than Cape May B&B's, yet is a lovely and beautifully restored historical home, filled with antiques and ambience. Saturday's breakfast of chipped beef on toast, was disappointing, but Sunday's buffet was better.

Our stay at the Doctors Inn at Cape May Court House, NJ was excellent. We were abe to avail ourselves to the off-season price. This bed and breakfast has some great history attached to it. Very comfortable and well appointed.

Although it's a historical building without novel fittings, but let me felt relax and comfort in the five day trips. I will take whole family there next time, and enjoy the City Cape May life.

I booked this B&B for a wedding I had to attend in Avalon. The place had so much charm, the breakfast was delicious, and the owner was such a sweetheart. I'm a sucker for unique experiences, and driving up this bright pink house on the street made me feel like I was definitely going to have one.

“The Doctor's Inn - make an appt for a healing weekend”

This was my first B n B in the Cape May area (because not really in Cape May proper). The accomodations were very nice, the surrounding area was pleasant, but most of the activities were about 15-20 minutes away, which was fine. Closest liquor store a little further...but that was fine too. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious and varied for a number of tastes. Overall an excellent experience!

“Romantic Weekend Getaway”

I loved this Inn. It was beautiful even though I visited in mid Feb. The breakfast they served was awesome. The best in the town! I felt very relaxed and comfortable. There was no noise or interruptions anything of that nature. The staff was very friendly and aimed to please. The only thing I did not like was the its a little older of a building and small maintence items were not quite kept up on. Such as the doors inside the rooms didn't latch properly and the jetted hot tub button was difficult to turn on. To be honest they were my only two complaints. I plan to make The Doctors Inn an annual event for my man and myself for Valentines Day. I was very pleased. I would reccommend this Inn to anyone, alone or a couple. Its the perfect enviroment to relax and reunify. Thanks to the owners of The Doctors Inn as well as the hard working staff. You make memories.

“Hard Bed/Backache”

Mislead on location. This is a B&B not located in Cape May as we had expected. Breakfast was good. They need to upgrade their beds. They were very hard and uncomfortable. Need to upgrade quality of toilet paper and kleenex.
