“Charming, friendly B&B”

My husband and I visited the Carroll Villa for one night in the off-season just to get away from NYC. The house is lovely and charming, our room was immaculate and nicely decorated and both innkeepers who we met while checking in and out were very nice. We would love to come back and have a longer stay once summer hits - after all, the inn is only a half block from the beach. Highly recommend it!

“The Charm of the Past”

I arrived after a very long drive and was quite tired. I had made reservations and knew that my bathroom might be in the hallway rather than in the room itself, but it turned out to be at the other end of the hotel, which could be a problem in the middle of the night, since I am a senior with some mobility problems. The staff was very accommodating when I mentioned this might be difficult for me, and they changed my room on the spot. The hotel wifi worked well; the attached restaurant served great food; and the location was right on the water.

“It's all victorian”

Note that 'private bathroom' may mean yours is down the hall, though private to your room. Hotel says so, but Expedia does not pass this detail along.
