“Best Night in a Hotel Ever!”

Cape May is heaven in the winter - I had the hotel and beach all to myself. Great bird watching in the nearby sanctuaries. Excellent restaurant - comfy and informal with a big fire in the fireplace. My room was on the 4th floor with a windowseat overlook the Atlantic. If you're not a big fan of Victorian (and I'm not!), this is for you! Sound of the surf, open windows ooo la la.

“Won't Stay Anywhere Else”

Unbelieveable location, amazingly comfortable and clean room and terrific restaurants at the best hotel in a one-of-a-kind Town. If you're worried about missing out on some of the history or charm of Cape May by not staying at a bed n' breakfast, fear not. Congress Hall has all the old charm and history with a high class feeling. My wife and I won't stay anywhere else now!

“Best stay in Cape May”

We have stayed many places both here and abroad of this proported caliber and they lived up to every boast. The staff was excellent and the overall facility was as advertised and more. The amenities are great and the restaurants and bars in the hotel are excellent. I have stayed at many Inns in Cape May and this was the most enjoyable and does not stray from the overall feeling of Victorian atmosphere. The rest are great but this is the best. I have also recommended to others who have stayed recently and have come back to thank me. I will not hesitate for next year.

“A Grand Victorian Hotel that you won't forget”

Located right on the beach in Cape May, the charming and beautiful Congress Hall hotel did not disappoint in any way. If you're looking for an authentic Victorian hotel experience, this is your place. The gorgeous lobby, the same soaps as the "W" and the shops on the first floor made our stay special. I particularly liked the attention to detail of the recent restoration of the hotel. The rugs in our room and the flooring in the halls seemed to be plucked out of the era. Our room was spotless and well appointed and it provided great comfort when we were not out enjoying Cape May. The Congress Hall was well worth the cost to stay there and is a great value.
