“Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer”

This motel has a wonderful location-a block from the beach and boardwalk, near several excellent restaurants and the downtown area. Appearance isn't great, unless you're nostalgic for the 50's experience, but it's clean, the service is friendly, our room had a microwave and a little fridge, and a balcony view of the boardwalk/beach. A little expensive, but you're paying for that great location.

“A Clean, Simple Place To Rest Your Head”

check-in is listed as 3pm, and we arrived at 1pm. we went to the front desk just to ask if we could keep the car parked there, and instead the woman checked to see if our room was ready and we were able to check-in 2 hours early! she was very nice, the check in process was simple, and our room was at the nova. this is a great place to stay if all you want is clean and simple (and aren't worried about having a big room - they're kind of small), which is exactly what we wanted. the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great, there was a fridge and microwave. they don't have an ice machine, we had to buy a bag of ice from the rite-aid a block away. it was quiet, with no parties the night we were there. if you want a room that has access to the balcony shown in the picture, you need to request staying at the dawn - the nova's balcony has no view but a brick wall. if cigarette smells bother you, don’t stay here – while the rooms are clean you can tell this is a smoking-friendly hotel as it lingers in the air and on your clothes. the one minus for late sleepers it that check-out is at 10am, instead of 11am.

“Close to Wildwood Boardwalk”

This motel is so close to the boardwolk you can hear all the excitement.

“Basic Motel Room”

This is your basic motel room. No extra's. We picked it for it's location to the beach and boardwalk. Small fridge and microwave were nice additions. Did not spend much time in the room - just for sleeping. If you want to be close to the action with no frills, it is a good stay for the price.

“Very typical shore motel.”

Enjoyed our stay but was not happy that I had to leave 1 day early and could not get a refund. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable but internet access was very intermittant if at all.

“Great location, furnishing lacking”

Right across from the beach and within walking distance of several great restaurants and a Rite Aid. Easy to get to. Staff was very pleasant. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom fixtures were kind of outdated. Also, it's right across the street from the Convention Center so if there's a big event going on, you definitely hear it. However, it was very clean and you can't beat the location.

“Will never go back!”

I have spent many summer vacations in WIldwood NJ and never stayed anyplace as bad as this, The hotel was run down, dirty and the last occupants food was still in the microwave. Also, no maid service. Stay away at all costs.........................

“Can do much better”

When I arrived I had to wait outside the office to check in because it was so small only 2 quests could fit in at a time. When I finally dragged my luggage up 2 flights and urgently needed the bathroom I discovered there was no toilet paper. Back down to the office, another wait outside while a couple were checking in, to get theone roll of toilet paper the desk clerk dug out of an outside storage room. The room was filthy beyong belief. The carpets had stains on them and sand was everywhere including the dresser tops. The bathroom floor had hair and small pieces of toilet paper and the ever present sand. We were given 2 towels, no washclothes and no hand towels for 2 woman and a child. Back down to the office after spending 5 hours driving here and several hours at the beach to get more towels so that we may all shower. The first time one of us used the sink it clogged and back down to the office to tell the desk clerk who himself had to come up with a plunger. I even went to the local RiteAid and bought a box of Lysol wipes and cleaned everything including the tub and bathroom floor. In short, the room was horrible. However, we were very close to the beach and could even get a pretty good view of it sitting outside our room. We were also in an excellent position to see the Fri night fireworks on the boardwalk from outside our room if it hadnt rained and they didnt cancel them
