“Great hotel and great location”

I didn't realize when I booked it how perfect the location is, facing the ocean and boardwalk and right around the corner from the little downtown area. Staff was pleasant and professional, the room was great.

“Enjoyable,close to beach.”

The Heritage Inn was nice and clean. Close to the beach. Parking was a little weird but you did have a place.I wish the bed was a little more softer. The new convention center is going up across the street, workers start about 7:30 a.m.but we we didn't mind we were going for breakfast and then to the beach.I use ear plugs I'm a light sleeper, but my 2 companions said they didn't notice any noise. I will probably go back there. It's owkay for what we needed it for.

“Nice little inn in Cape May”

My boyfriend and I are in our early twenties, and came down to Cape May just to get away from the city for a few days. We arrived late, much later than the front desk was open, but the owners (a three-generation family) left our key for us and we were able to get to our room just fine. The owner was kind enough to upgrade us to an ocean-view room, which from the 3rd floor was very lovely. While it isn't exactly the lap of luxury and may not have the overwhelming beauty of Cape May's many Victorian B&B's, the Heritage Inn was a wonderful place to stay on a budget. We weren't looking for a 5-star luxurious place to stay, just somewhere comfortable, convenient, and nice overall. The Heritage Inn fit all of those, and we were very satisfied with our stay.

“Only reason I recommend this hotel is because of its location. And yes, it was clean.”

When 1st thing you hear about motel is "It's clean" you knows its ng. Arrival: See basic (not ,pretty) motel. Stark, no flowers or the like. Check in: I asked about location of room & was told, "Check it out, but it is what it is." Not welcoming. Most staff need customer service training. Room: i notice: 1) Doesn't smell & clean. Good news. 2))Faded chairs, cheezy pictures, small old TV, ugly bedspreads, no phone/alarm clock. Bad news. 3) PAPER bath mat. Rediculously bad news. (Got extra bath towel to replace paper mat.) Other info: The pool is small but ok. Nice rooftop deck. Nothing fancy, but nice view. General maintanience needs some work: peeling paint, small cracks in plastic chairs. Off-street parking. Wi-Fi - but only works outside of room sitting on ugly plastic chair. Ice machine, clothes line, and outside shower spicket ARE the amenities. Location was best part: Across street from beach. Bike rental around corner. Walking distance to mall,shopping,restaurants,Victorian houses. BUT: City convention cener is under construction directly across street. For next year, it will be eye sore & mildly noisy. When finished it will block views. When all was said & done, the place 'grew on us' - but that probably was more a reflection of a good mother-daughter vacation than the motel itself. Next time to the cape: I'll stay elsewhere

“Not impressed”

The hotel is in a great location - central to everything in Cape May and within easy walking distance. But the room smelled musty and mildewly, even though it appeared clean, and there were no extra amenities whatsoever - no wireless internet access, the TV was old, and it was difficult to get any extra towels or toiletries. The lock on the door did not appear very secure. There was no designated smoking area and other guests smoked right outside my room, which meant that I could not keep the windows open to get rid of the mildew smell. Overall, I would not stay there again and would not recommend it to other travelers.

“"NO" "NO" Hotel”

I booked for higher floor room, we ended up into a handicapped room with no hot water at all until very late at night. I paid alot for this hotel. I did not get the service and a room that I paid for. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
