“Accommodating Accommodations”

Rooms were clean. Staff very professional and accommodating. We arrived hours before check in time and were encouraged to use the pool, given beach tags and hotel discount card for use at area shops/restaurants. And although check out time was 11 a.m. I also liked the fact that we were welcome to use the pool and beach tags up until 5 p.m. Would definitely stay there again.

“Best so far”

We have gone to at least 3 others in Cape May, but we liked this best because of the view but mostly (for the husband) the good cell phone and internet signals. He does work on the road, and in the past, it has been stressful not having reliable internet access or good cell connections. The only minor fault we could find was the size of parking spaces...really tight. Some elderly found it difficult to maneuver...BUT in the end, they did it!

Rooms are very nice and clean. Beach is right across the street.

“Montreal Inn Regular”

We stay here every summer but I checked out Expedia to compare other hotels since this was a special anniversary get-away. The room was very comfortable for a short stay for 2 adults. It is a great location and great value on Ocean Front rooms. The staff there are very polite and helpful if you need them. The town of Cape May is the most beautiful Jersey shore town. Great trip and we will stay again at the Montreal Inn.

“Cape May overnight”

Hotel is across the street from the Ocean. Lots of boardwalk paths. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and very quiet. The cont. bkfst was fair, cold cereal, juices and pastries. Sufficient but would have liked some fruit. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay there.

We had an offseason stay at this hotel, which was very nice. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.

“Great hotel right on beach”

We were in Cape MAy for Coast Guard graduation and needed to find a comfortable hotel and The Montreal was wonderful. The price was right, staff wonderful and room was a great value. Would go back and also refer friends.

“Good, but could be better.”

It turns out that the entrances to each room are in the back and look trashy. All rooms face the beach which is also the side that is well maintained. Staff is nice, but seem to be hesitant to accommodate requests. The location of the hotel is not as central to everything you would like to see in the town, and they don't provide any breakfast. It would be nice if that would be included.

“A nice place to stay in Cape May”

We enjoyed our stay at the Montreal Inn. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel was clean and right on the ocean. It was also close enough to bike to downtown attractions.
