One block from beachPosted Sep 22, 2014
Outside looks more modern than inside room. Inside of room is old but clean. Hotel only has double beds - no queen-size. Hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. On-site restaurant was excellent and hotel guests receive a 10% off discount. Off-street parking was adequate although sometimes you can't park near your room. Pool was heated to 93 degrees and very clean during our September stay. If the rooms were a little more modern our stay would have been 4-star considering the location and excellent hotel staff. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Nice, quiet place to stay and close to the beachPosted Aug 3, 2014
My son and I enjoyed it very much. The motel was very clean, quiet and the staff were both prompt and friendly. The pool was clean and warm and my son and I loved it. In addition, the restaurant was fantastic. We had both breakfast and dinner there and enjoyed it very much.

Terrible experiencePosted Jul 24, 2014
Cons: Room must be renovated
Location: Location was not bad and many family activities available close to this hotel
1. Beddings were not clean with stain spots 2. Bathroom has many corrosion spots on the side of mirror 3. Many cracks on the ceiling 4. Room was dark Never want to stay again. Especially horrible for family

Close to the beach- needs renovationsPosted Jul 23, 2014
The hotel was very outdated and not clean. Rooms had a very strong odor and cleaning was minimal. Pool area was maintained and the only positive to the hotel. Close to the beach, but would not recommend. Towels were stolen on tanning deck and parking was very tight.

Fine hotel for the area. Staff was great. Rooms outdated but have stove, microwave and mini fridge.

Friendly, courteous staffPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Because of the age of the building, nothing short of a complete renovation could really improve on the current facilities
Location: The beach is only a few blocks away...Cape May is not far....plenty of things to do...
The staff was great! Very courteous and friendly. The hotel was close to the beach and the restaurant was great for breakfast.

Crappy hotel close to beachPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Closer to the beach.
Cons: Cleanliness, internet connection
Location: Free beach and few attractions- nothing much.
Main door locking problem. Found chocolate wrapper behind the bed-side light table. Interior was filthy, e.g. dirty sink, salt deposits on the tap handles. Wi-Fi never worked. We paid $120 per night which was overpriced for the place.

Nice location, great staff, acceptable conditionsPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The location most of all. It was a short walk or drive to everything you would want to do in Cape May.
Cons: Hotel wi-fi and general condition.
Location: Basically anything you could do at a tourist beach/boardwalk. It was a fun location.
The hotel staff was great and it was a really convenient location to the boardwalk and beach. However, some of the amenities we paid for were unavailable. The room I stayed in could not connect to wi-fi and a number of the power sockets did not work. They were small annoyances, but worth noting.
