The hotel was awesome! I loved the pool/hot tub and the staff was super friendly! I also recommend renting the bikes to ride around the boardwalk. We had such a great time and cannot wait to go back!

“Repeat Stay at Starlux”

I stayed at this hotel two years ago for a similar event. One of the reasons I returned to participate in this particular event was the fact that I really enjoyed this hotel. Parking is tricky but otherwise the hotel is clean, accomodating, love the fridge/micro/coffee pot in every room. Have stayed in both a suite and a regular room and both were very spacious, clean and pleasant.

“Very Nice Place to Stay”

We loved the retro look of the Starlux. It was kitchy and fun. The location is just steps from the main entrance to the beach and boardwalk. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. A first for me was an envelope provided in the room for the purpose of tipping the person who cleaned our room. Jose kept our room immaculate and well stocked and was friendly and helpful. We gladly left him a tip. Having had some real nightmares in the past at other motels (mold, once found a used condom under the bed!, bedding smelling like vicks vapo rub) I really appreciate cleanliness. The pool was crystal clear and sparkling. Though we did not use it we watched the regular morning cleaning and saw the many other guests enjoy it. A bonus is the ice cream shop right across the street! Okay nothing is perfect, the ice machine was not working. Overall a great experience. We would definitly recomend the Starlux.

“Will book this hotel again!”

This hotel is a perfect location to the beach. Park your car and don't drive again until you are ready to go home. This is not a fancy hotel, but the rooms are clean & adequate. The rooms contain the necessities - refrig/freezer, micro & coffee maker. What sets this hotel apart is the accomodating service your will receive from the hotel staff (all of them including the hotel manager). A big "thank you" to all the staff we encountered on our trip! We will see you next year!

“Highly recommended!”

It is a very cute hotel. it is just so different from all the others in that area, as far as style. There is plenty of space around a pool. The only "but" one can have is that it's somewhat noisy by the pool, because the hotel itself is located on the corner of 2 busy streets. However, if noise doesn't bother you, it's one of the best places in that area. The prices are good also.Would definatelly recommend it over the others in that area.

“Stay with the Jetsons!!!!”

We were here for the US Coast Guard graduation during the winter months (snow was all around) and very few motel/hotels are open during this time of the year. I found this inexpensive hotel on EXPEDIA and booked it. It was the best thing that we did... Super hotel service, excellent decor centered around the 60's and the "Jetson" family. You'll enjoy a continental breakfast in the "Astro" room, affectionately named after Astro the dog. Although the area and hotel are geared for the summer months, the treated us like we were the only ones there! We can't wait to go back. Thanks STARLUX and STAFF!! Oh and Expedia too!!

“Very Nice”

Very nice little hotel. Although my standard room was on the small side, it had all that I wanted / needed. The style and design was very cool. The price was alot lower than what they wanted in Cape May. Next time I will book a suite. Two thumbs up!

“Very Nice Place-will definately be back!”

Staff was very friendly & helpful. I was upgraded to a suite- as they were doing some remodeling /painting - it was great! Loved the 50's style decor... Great kitchen area with nice size fridge, loved the lava lamp in the bedroom area & the pvt little deck overlooking the boardwalk. I was there in October- bet its real nice in the summer.... Will definitely be back as my nephew is stationed at Cape May .
