“Small but nice”
This is a nice, small and quaint hotel, with just a few rooms. It had a bed and breakfast atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and the price was affordable.
“Can,t wait togo back. excellent hotel”
the trip was excellent
“Would go back”
Motel was great, didn't list it had a couch with a chaise & kitchenette when I booked. Was very pleased. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but was still nice.
“Cape May Treasure”
I found this hotel in a perfect location right across from the beach and around the corner from the famous Washington Street Mall. The room was very comfortable and clean. Would stay there again!
“Awesome place to stay!”
This is an exceptional hotel. They provide beach service too including chair, umbrella set up with towels, etc. They will serve food and drinks also. It's so nice to have this while on vacation! The hotel was excellent my only complaint about Cape May is the food. Its hard to fine a good meal. Most places are average at best and overpriced.
“Lovely little place”
The Star Inn, while a part of the larger Congress Hall, is a small historic house separate from the main building. We stayed in the house itself rather than the newer wing and we LOVED it. Our room was small but so cozy, with just the right amount of room. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The location is only about a block from the beach, as well as surrounded by great places to eat. Would definitely go back!
“Will stay here again!”
I originally booked for 2 night, but decided to extend my trip. The first room I had was huge, which shocked me because I got a really good price on expedia... It had a front and back porch, living room and kitchen area. Very comfortable. When I decided to stay an extra night I did have to switch rooms as my original room had already been reserved. The staff was very helpful and the second room I got was inside the older portion of the Star. It was also very comfortable and had a great view of the beach. It is also in a great location to the beach and to all the restaurants and shopping.
“Has to be one of the best deals in town- quality, value, price”
First Expedia did a great job of getting the best price available. I researched the Star Inn on line and the comments from others were so positive i took the chance. What a great place. Has a little front porch to sit as well as a back yard of sorts. Both great places if you want to be able to light up a cigar or a cigarette. It is directly across from the Congress Hall and is part of the Hotel. You have to register at Congree Hall but that is no problem. Staff was very helpful. Maids were great, location is just perfect. We had all the coffee we needed to make our own in the room due to the maids supplying it on request.Oh, almost forgot, it also has a small kitchen with refrig, micro, toaster, sink. Great value.
“Great place”
If you're looking for a place to stay in Cape May, The Star is a great place to consider. We stayed in an apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It had a roomy living room, kitchen/dining area, and a balcony. Though The Star doesn't have it's own restaurant or other amenities, its big brother across the street (Congress Hall) has everything, including a spa, restaurant, bar, club, and shops. The fact that it's only half a block from the beach is a real plus.
“Pleasantly surprised. We'll go back again.”
Very good spot for a family vacation. Accomodations were good, Only half a block from the beach. We were able to use all the amenities of the Congress Hall across the street.
