Will be coming backPosted Dec 17, 2014
Cons: Nothing that stood out.
Location: Camps Bay and Seapoint on each side...easy to go around the mountain to the CBD or get to the base of Lion's Head to hike.
Loved it, just what I wanted! Something on the Atlantic Seaboard, friendly staff, lots of options nearby with a great big room and balcony (top floor corner).

Stylish apartments in an excellent location.Posted Nov 13, 2014
Very positive experience overall. Amazing views over Bantry Bay from top floor apartment. Rooms were cleaned well, including dirty dishes, with fresh linen and towels provided daily; turn down service with complimentary water and chocolates in the evening. Staff were very attentive and friendly. There were a few small areas of maintenance required to the room, which were fed back to the hotel, but nothing that detracted from the experience. Booked online, this proved to be a good value for money option within a prime location, with the freedoms that come with self catering. Good choice of cheaper restaurants in Sea Point, with classier dining options in nearby Camps Bay.

Great location and servicePosted Feb 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Initially stayed in the serviced apartments but was moved to the main hotel due to construction works. Hotel staff were very accommodating about the issue. The main hotel room, whilst significantly smaller than the apartment was far superior in finishes and comfort. That said, the convenience of your own kitchen in the the apartment does offset this. A tough choice depending on your preferences. Being a regular Cape Town visitor and ex-resident, I can honestly say that the Ambassador continues to be my FAVOURITE hotel in Cape Town. Stunning views, great location and excellent service.

Hard to fault.Posted Dec 18, 2013
A great location, with spectacular views of the ocean. Close walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful, top service all round. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. The self catering apartments were the perfect studio set up and felt very safe.

HorriblePosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Location was SAFE - that is about it.
Cons: Everything - honestly!
Location: Just go to camps bay and stay the bay hotel, guarantee you will get better service there.
Long story short, would NEVER stay here again in my life. Everything that could go wrong did. Including the room not being what we booked, being charged for a so-called 'free breakfast', wifi not working and them even 'forgetting' to fulfil a wake up call. The entire experience became a comedy skit after about day 1.
