Well positioned and warm boutique hotelPosted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Staff, position and warmth.
Cons: Breakfast and Internet connection, and to be able to serve yourself wine by the glass and not having to buy the entire bottle.
Location: Close to everywhere.
The staff was very welcoming and warm. The hotel is well positioned in Camps Bay. It has a good view over the beach and table mountain. It is close to all amenities.

Excellent Hotel. The great view.Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The location. It had a great view of the mountains and the sea. The service was also great.
Location: The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the main part of Camps Bay where there are restaurants and the beach. The only thing missing there is shopping.
We had a very relaxed stay. This is a guest house with 7 rooms so it was peaceful. We were not surrounded by lots of people. It was like being in a luxurious home.

A no brainer - just book it - Seriously!Posted Sep 25, 2014 on Hotels
I am not entirely fond of small boutique hotels as they can be a bit too overwhelming with trying to add that "personal touch", which can just come across off a little tacky or even intrusive. This place strikes an pitch perfect balance with being cozy and intimate (think beautiful fireplace, made to order breakfasts and generous offers to help with tours, restaurant tips, etc) while still giving you the privacy and independence of larger hotels (think "honesty" bar, the fact that guests have the entire place to themselves after 7PM each night and the fact it's tucked away on a quiet street but still within seconds of Camp's Bay beaches, restaurants and nightlife). Sally and the other staff at the Atlantic House are warm, genuine and good spirited people who uphold the highest standards of hospitality. After a day sightseeing, Atlantic is the exact kind of place you want to come back to unwind, pour yourself a drink for the communal bar, watch the sunset and take the 30 second drive to Camps Bay's best restaurants and nightlife. I travel every six weeks and I can comfortably say that this is one of my favorite places. Stop searching and just book it! You won't regret it.

Fantastic stay at Atlantic housePosted Aug 30, 2014 on Hotels
We stayed 5 nights at Atlantic house and experienced exceptional service and amazing hospitality from the friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing and the ocean view from the house is outstanding. We would recommend the Atlantic house as the perfect choice when staying in Cape Town.

Fantastic!!Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, well furnished, great breakfast, wonderful property.
We were visiting South Africa for our honeymoon and stayed 2 nights at the wonderful Atlantic House. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when addressing our needs. The rooms were very well furnished and the bars were stocked! Unfortunately it rained both days we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the nearby beach, but it would be an easy walk when the weather cooperates.

Great place but up hillPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: The room was large with excellent facilities. The balcony provided an excellent view.
Cons: Very little could be improved
Location: The hill would be daunting for some. Camps Bay is a by South African standards a vibrant yet pleasant place to spend a few days relaxing.
The rooms and the general facilities are great but there was no getting away from the fact that this is on a hill.
