Amazing views and concierge style service!Posted Nov 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed for 3 nights at Manolo. The team were great at making sure we had a great stay from restaurant and taxi bookings, popping down with afternoon ice creams, champagne in our room on our last night and letting us stay late on our departure day to shower after climbing table mountain. The b&b is situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood with stunning views over the city while being a 10 minute max drive to the city and the cool restaurants on Kloof St. Would have loved to stay longer to chill out by the mini pool and enjoy the epic views. I would definitely go back!

Cons: Don't change a thing.

Classy boutique guest house high above Cape Town. Wonderful views, friendly service, great breakfast, elegant decor. Peter, Phillipa and Leen were wonderful hosts.

Friendly and welcomingPosted Aug 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was our first stop of a three week holiday and we couldn't have asked for a better place to start. The hotel was easy to find and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The room and hotel itself was very impressive with a fantastic view over the city. Our hosts were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and information about the area. Breakfast was also delightful and kept us going all day. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area, well worth the price.

Great Place in CapetownPosted Apr 2, 2014
Cons: It's a pity that there is no view from any of the common part of the house
In a large house overlooking the downtown, very modern and comfortable room, nice views, staff very responsive and easy going. The breakfast is plentiful. We enjoyed spending there 2 days, with a great weather to add to the story

Excellent Boutique HotelPosted Feb 17, 2014
The hotel is in a great location in a quiet street. The owners and staff are all lovely friendly helpful people, who go the extra yard to deliver top quality and often unexpected service. Their advice and assistance was always spot on. The room although on the small side was beautifully decorated and furnished and was extremely comfortable. The view was amazing and we would often sit out in the evening with a bottle of red. Breakfast was superb with a wide range of choices. Nowhere can be perfect so I have been trying to think of something bad about the boutique Manolo, but I have been unable to identify anything. I think that says it all. Leen showed us the penthouse and Wow. Hopefully we will return one day and have breakfast on the penthouse balcony. Simply stunning.

A piece of paradise in Cape Town.Posted Mar 31, 2012
Pros: The room and the view
Cons: Didn't stay long enough
Location: Quiet, A car is a good idea, but taxis are cheap. Amazing views.
What a lovely place to stay! This hotel is like a tardis - from the outside it looks quite small and not that special, but when you step inside you immediately realise that this is somewhere very special, and because it is on the side of the mountain, as you descend the stairs it reveals more and more surprises. We arrived well before check-in time, hoping to just leave our bags and go off to entertain ourselves for the rest of the day, but Peter and Leen were just brilliant. Coffee and croissants appeared within minutes, and we were offered a shower room in which to freshen up and change. They also had booked our lunch venue for us! When we returned after lunch, we were shown around by Sarah (who is a credit to Manolo) and then taken to our room (room 100). It was probably the best hotel room we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot. Restful, quiet, an exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful wet room and a view to die for! The following morning we lay in bed and watched the sun rise with the back drop of Table Mountain. Incredible. To sum up in one word.......STUNNING. Thank you Peter, Leen and Sarah.

Excellent Place to StayPosted Feb 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
I would recommend this hotel. Peter was so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The location was great - close to everything. The atmosphere was very relaxing and you were treated more like friends staying rather than hotel guests. If you want somewhere really beautiful and enjoyable to stay in Cape town - book Manola.

Perfect small hotelPosted Jul 30, 2011
The views from this hotel are breathtaking. It is an easy walk, albeit down a significant hill, to town. The owner/operators were friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and sincere in their desire to make our stay enjoyable. They recommended great restaurants and sight seeing ideas. We loved the modern decor, and the hotel was well cared for and very clean. We will be staying here on our next visit.
