Nice hotel but very noisy at night

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Value for money - yes Modern and clean - yes Excellenet location - yes Staff - perfect Complete stay was perfect. The only thing that wasn't great was the fact that the appartments are located right next to the busy highway. The waves of traffic during the night was very unfortunate as everything else was perfect. If it wasnt so close to the highway it would have been perfect and without fault.

Great apartment

Posted Apr 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Difficult to find but once there it was really good. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was finished to a high standard and very clean. Couldn't believe how spacious it was. Loved having the balcony over looking the water. Bed was super comfy

close to V&A waterfront, water taxi available at the hotel. Easy access to downtown. Deck is great , view is poor.

Good stay

Very difficult to find the building with a TOM TOM navigation, took us over an hour of asking people for directions. Considering it is quite easy to get there when you know that you must drive to the convention center, this felt a bit unnecessary. Great to be able to take a water taxi through the canals to get to the Waterfront for about 3 euros for a day pass. Same price if you wanna take a taxi. Good to have parking for the car in the basement, but very disorganised numbering of the parking spots. Good standard in the room in general. The view from the balcony is towards the commercial harbour, so not very romantic. The pool is more of a splash pool than a real one. Quite limited in paces to sit around it and small. On all the important points this place is great though !

the room was comfortable, but close to the freeway so the traffic noise was loud. otherwise was clean tidy and sufficient for this visit

Ideal location to the Waterfront

Posted Jan 16, 2014
Pros: The excellent facilities.
Cons: Better pedestrian access.
Location: The nearby V and A Waterfront is the best of it's type we have ever seen. Lots of activities and a great view of Table Mountain.
A well appointed, modern apartment. Pedestrian access is difficult but it is well serviced by a water taxi to the Waterfront. However this service doesn,t run at night.

Nice place to stay!

Close to many places of interest. Very close to the convention center. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is large enough and furnishings are just right for a long stay (kitchen, washer/dryer, refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, wifi). We enjoyed our stay and will certainly consider staying there again next time around.

Good location but noisy

Good location close to the waterfront but the building is alongside a busy freeway. Suitable for business travellers but probably not ideal for families with children.

Nice place to stay, close to V&A waterfront

Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: The neatness and the feeling that we were home.
Location: You have the V&A waterfront, the ratanga Junction close by, Table mountain and then Canal walk shopping mall which is huge and has so much to do.
We stayed for a week at Canal Quays, the apartment we got was well presented, tidy and clean. We really felt like we were at home. Staff was always help full and friendly. The only let down was the fact that for us it was too far to walk to the V& A waterfront and had to go there by car and the view was not very nice. You look out onto the harbour. I would however stay there again.
