Nice hotel in very convenience placePosted Jun 29, 2015
It is the very good and comfort hotel. The hotel is located near to the V&A Waterfront and very convenience to go to attraction places. The only thing that the Canal Quays hotel can't find on GPS, so it was make us difficult to find the hotel in the first time.

Great facility, view is not the greatest but it is conveniently located with respect to VA Waterfront and is reasonably priced.

Capetown HolidayPosted Apr 19, 2015

Good apartmentsPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Large spacious rooms and facilities.
Location: Near the waterfront and easy to walk into city centre. Taxis cheap. Canal boats take you to waterfront every 20 mins very cheap.
Very spacious apartment well equipped and clean. Well secured although you didn't see many residents due to security measures. Noisy due to motorway running alongside and container port the other side. Although it is fair to say most hotels are situated around the motorways. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend it as very reasonable rates and good value for money.

Convenient, spacious and clean accommodationPosted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: It's location
Cons: Simple things like a soap dish by the handbasin and a tea towel
Location: Head down to the V & A and do the Red bus tours. If you have two days to spare they offer a good discount for the blue & red bus route.
Canal Quays is approximately a 20 minute walk to the V & A, and less than a 10 minute walk to Long Street (business district) or you can take the canal boat which comes along approx every 20 minutes (40 rands per person unlimited trips) Canal Quays apartments are well resourced with excellent parking facilities, friendly and helpful staff. We did have a few issues with wifi access but the staff were always willing to assist in trying to sort the issue out. (this may have been more of a Cape Town infrastructure issue rather than Canal Quay problem, so does not impact on my rating).

Canal Quays - reviewPosted Feb 25, 2015 on Hotels
We have stayed at the Canal Quays on many occasions and find it very convenient, safe parking is a huge plus. It is a bit noisey at certain times of the day/ night. find the bedrooms very small and cramped, so will request a studio apartment in the future. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

Super Hotel. Very ModernPosted Feb 21, 2015
I had slight reservations - but they were misguided. Excellent place to stay. Furnishings superb. Location great. Very clean. Pool very small - I saw no one use it. Overlooks a working dock (most things do - it is Cape Town) which was interesting. Overall satisfied, recommended and would stay there again.
