Fantastic hotel!Posted Mar 30, 2015
The service at this hotel is unsurpassed. They accommodated us for everything we needed and upgraded us to a suite that far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great 1st impression let down by a few thingsPosted Mar 10, 2015
Great suits with loads of space. Very small pool and roof bar. Restaurants not up to standard but very good ones near by. keep everything of value in safe - small items go walk about e.g. toiletries.

Good base to explore Cape TownPosted Jan 29, 2015
Stayed for New Year and could not have picked a better location. Close to Waterfront, walking distance 5 mins. Staff friendly and rooms could not be faulted.

Hotel que je recommandePosted Jan 23, 2015 on Hotels.com
Très bon hotel à 10 minutes à pieds de W & A waterfront. Appartement 2 chambres très spacieux. Personnel très serviable et compétent. Quartier tranquille.

Great location, but let down by servicePosted Jan 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
This was our second stay at Cape Royale Suites because of its excellent location within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront, De Waterkant and the City Bowl. But we noticed the difference in the state of the hotel between January 2014 and January 2014. Unfortunately, it is starting to look a little worn now. The service at the hotel is a little disappointing though. Often you need to ask for something two or three times (adapter for the wifi router took three days and three requests to arrive this time). However, the porters and door staff are excellent and eager to help out families whenever they can. We stayed in the two-bedroomed suite on both visits and it was ideal for us (a family with two small children). The bedrooms are a decent size, each has an en-suite bathroom and the living/dining area is large. If you want a hotel within walking distance of the city centre and are not expecting One&Only-style service, then I can recommend Cape Royale.

Ok hotelPosted Jan 17, 2015 on Hotels.com
OK hotel though compared to swedish standards i would rather say it's a 3 star then a 5 star hotel. It's glamourus on the outside but we had issues with waterpressure in the taps, WIFI and AC. The cleaning was very good and they even cleaned our rooms twice a day. Hotel taxi to table mountain was 220 rand while a regular taxi was 140, the hotel taxi was however more comfortable. About 5-10 minutes walk down to Waterfront. Since breakfast ain't included recommend eating in waterfront which is cheaper.

Mycket bra boende!Posted Jan 11, 2015 on Hotels.com
Mycket bra boende i Cape town, enormt stora o fräscha rum. Nära till det mesta o gratis transfer några gånger per dag till Waterfront, Greenmarket mm. Skybar o poolområdet kändes lite trångt o ofräscht i förhållande till övriga hotellet.

New Years Eve disappointmentPosted Jan 3, 2015
Cons: Proper management.
Location: Wonderful location! Too bad our reservation was not honored.
This hotel refused our Expedia Reservation on New Years Eve after I booked on November 8th! They tried to put us in a lower priced hotel away from walkable areas. We live here in Cape Town and paid a large fee for this room for a memorable evening, we were very disappointed and went home.
