Great Hotel, Great Location

Posted Jul 12, 2015
This is a great hotel, in a great location, only a short walk to green point or the vna waterfront. The staff were great, eager to please and very helpful. Rooftop bar is also quite nice, breakfast is a little sparse, but adequate.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Large and clean room. Courteous service. Easy to park either in the hotel parking or even on the streets at the back of the hotel
Cons: Increase the number of locations where the hotel shuttle service could go. It was limited to 3 stops, and the Table Mountain was not in the stop.
Location: Great location close to the Waterfront and restaurants. Hotel shuttle service for the Waterfront and downtown market.
Perfect stay in Cape Town for our family of 4 with teenagers. Plenty of space in our family suite reasonably priced. Room was clean. Washing machine in the room was very handy. Nice free hotel shuttle service that brings you to the Waterfront and downtown market, although you can also take a 10-minute walk to go to the Waterfront. I'd recommend taking the shuttle service if you go when it's dark. Plenty of free parking on the streets in the back of the hotel, although the hotel parking is not expensive. If I go back to Cape town, I would stay there again.

Excellent Staff & Service at Cape Royale

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Professionalism and postiveness of the staff.
Cons: Pillows aren't the most comfortable.
Location: Excellent location with plenty of really good restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery market nearby.
For most of our vacation in South Africa, especially in Cape Town, we rented a two bedroom suite and stayed at the Cape Royale. The Cape Royale is located not far from the soccer stadium in Cape Town. The suite was very comfortable and a good size. It was exceptionally clean, and had not only a clean and newer model dishwasher, but it also had a washer and dryer combo in the kitchen. When we wanted an extra blanket or asked for an adjustment to the temperature of the suite, the management and staff members responded ASAP. Across the board, the staff members are very positive and professional, and their deportment added to an already nice visit. We strongly recommend the Cape Royale.

Great family Hotel

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: the spacious suite, the hotel staff and the location
Cons: supply the rooms with a few pots, pans, utensils and dishwasher soap.
Location: The hotel seemed to be convenient to everything - V & A waterfront, the hop on hop off buses, shopping etc.
LOVE the hotel, love the location and love the spaciousness of our suite. The only negative I could see was that our suite had a lovely full kitchen, but no pots or pans, or cooking utensils. We had to request a pot or pan or certain utensil when we needed it and then wait for them to search and bring it to us. They seemed a bit perplexed with our requests. However, they did eventually produce an appropriate pan and utensils. Also there was no dishwashing soap, so we had to wait until the maids came the next day to start the dishwasher and get clean dishes. Hand washing was not an option as there was no hand dish soap either - until we asked for some for the room. These are minor issues, but became a bit annoying when we tried to use the beautiful kitchen.
