“Wonderful Hotel- Superb Location”

Cape Hollow is great hotel. The rooms were large and well cared for, save for the leaking shower door. The staff was extremely helpful. They even searched and found an adapter for us which we were able to use for the duration of our trip. The breakfast was very good. And they have an egg chef to cook eggs and omelettes to order. The onsite restaurant was also very good. What makes it location perfect are the stunning view of Table Mountain and the location. It's centrally located across from the superf S.A. Natural History Museum and The Company Gardens, a beautiful park and botanical garden. The Castle of Good Hope, National Gallery and other sites are with a short walkd. Great restaurants can be found within walking distance.

“An ideal location for a good price”

This hotel is conveniently located close to many attractions within the bowl of Cape Town. Many historical sites and shopping areas (Long Street) are within walking distance and the Waterfront is only a short cab ride away. Table Mountain and Lion's Head are both close by and are great for moderate hikers. The staff were very helpful and the food in the hotel is excellent. Many excursions and travel plans can be booked for a competitive price in the lobby. The view from the rooms is very nice and there are nice gardens right across the street. The internet connection is accessed through wireless in the public areas and was a decent speed. The pool is small and there aren't any decent beaches for swimming close by. For nice beaches, try Muizenberg down south.
