“PROBLEM WITH THE ADDRESS!!”
The room was large and comfortable, separate bedroom and a comfortable fold out bed in the living room, good for our 3 year old son. Only complaint is the toilet has no door and is right in the bedroom (no privacy and smells go into the rest of the room!) IMPORTANT - BEWARE OF THE ADDRESS: If you search for the hotel address exactly as it appears on the email confirmation from Expedia and on the hotel's own website (15 Anton Anreith Arcade Foreshore, Cape Town) Google Maps directs you to a residential address in Milnerton about 20 minutes drive away. We drove around for over an hour, used expensive international data and voice on our cell phones to figure out how to eventually find the hotel. Once you get to where the hotel is, you will not find it easily because you cannot drive up to the lobby and there is no sign for the underground parking. Our GPS got us to the location and we still could not find the hotel - my husband was walking around looking for it and a kind man who worked nearby guided us to an unmarked underground parking, then told us to take an unmarked elevator to the lobby, which we did. The staff were well aware of the address problem and said they are working with Google Maps to correct it, and in the meantime are also using the back of the hotel's address on Jetty Street. Needless to say, we were very frustrated by the time we arrived close to midnight. We hoped management would offer some compensation but they did not and we were too tired to fight it.
