Good location and servicesPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is conveniently located to the convention center, where a lot of conferences are held. I was initially assigned to a room facing the street, and that was quite noisy. So I requested change to a different room. The hotel staff were very nice and they immediately switched me to a room on the other side of the building, which was quite. The room is quite new, but it lacked a desk for working, and the queen-sized bed was actually two twin-sized beds putting side by side. There was wifi for R70 a day, but the speed was kind of slow. But again, the hotel staff were quite nice, and they booked my tours and called taxis, etc. Overall, it's a good value.

The hotel was amazing, the room was large and very comfortable (especially the bed) and the staff was readily available to book our tours and assist with any questions. Outstanding experience and definitely would go back.

Very difficult to find Hotel!!!Posted May 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is located within a square, therefore address of hotel is difficult to find. Even taxi drivers had a difficult time. Parking garage only good for very small vehicles.

Centrally locatedPosted Mar 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent for value. Hotel does not have a cafe/restaurant but good restaurant (Italian) 50 steps away and breakfast/coffeehouse 30 steps away.Ten minute easy walk (safe 24 hours a day) to Victoria and Elford waterfront. Located in central financial district and close to everything. Penthouse suite is huge (1200 sq ft) and modern. Kitchen is fully equipped.

PROBLEM WITH THE ADDRESS!!Posted Jan 1, 2013
Pros: Size and comfort of room
Cons: Address guided us to a completely different city 20 minutes away - big problem!
Location: Downtown, walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants.
The room was large and comfortable, separate bedroom and a comfortable fold out bed in the living room, good for our 3 year old son. Only complaint is the toilet has no door and is right in the bedroom (no privacy and smells go into the rest of the room!) IMPORTANT - BEWARE OF THE ADDRESS: If you search for the hotel address exactly as it appears on the email confirmation from Expedia and on the hotel's own website (15 Anton Anreith Arcade Foreshore, Cape Town) Google Maps directs you to a residential address in Milnerton about 20 minutes drive away. We drove around for over an hour, used expensive international data and voice on our cell phones to figure out how to eventually find the hotel. Once you get to where the hotel is, you will not find it easily because you cannot drive up to the lobby and there is no sign for the underground parking. Our GPS got us to the location and we still could not find the hotel - my husband was walking around looking for it and a kind man who worked nearby guided us to an unmarked underground parking, then told us to take an unmarked elevator to the lobby, which we did. The staff were well aware of the address problem and said they are working with Google Maps to correct it, and in the meantime are also using the back of the hotel's address on Jetty Street. Needless to say, we were very frustrated by the time we arrived close to midnight. We hoped management would offer some compensation but they did not and we were too tired to fight it.

Great hotel especially for the pricePosted Dec 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
The quality of the rooms were much higher than I expected for the price and generally nice staff. There was no in-house cafe or restaurant which could have increased the convenience, but there were a lot of options right around the corner. I have already recommended it to others and would stay there again.
Nice hotel, good locationPosted Dec 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is based on the penthouse suites. Unfortunately the hotel manager had moved us to a lesser room even though we had prepaid a penthouse. This meant an hour waiting before our suite was ready. That is not a nice welcome after 18 hours travel. The room was spacious and clean with good standard. Not far to walk to waterfront or green market square.

Very good value.Posted Oct 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Staff very helpful with our queries and we appreciated the late checkout on departure. Iron and hairdryer promptly provided from 'Housekeeping.' Unfortunately our driver had difficulty finding the hotel, as it is not clearly sign-posted and the entrance is on the mall. Also, we were a little uncomfortable with the lack of privacy, as the bathroom (including the toilet) were open to the bedroom in our suite.
