Pros: Location, staff, accommodation and views...
Cons: Faultless in every way...
Location: Excellent spot for exploring the wine lands and a short drive from Cape Town.
Faultless in every way. Hotel is stunning with spectacular views. Staff are so friendly and really can not do enough for you. Exceeded expectations. This hotel really does have the WOW factor..........

Lovely hillside location, great pool terrace viewPosted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Well-designed hotel with all Mooi furniture and decor. The look is contemporary and high end but still casual. Service was overall great. The front desk helped us with myriad asks from needle and thread to car bookings to surrounding wineries. Pool setting is gorgeous with fantastic view. Definitely a more intimate hotel compared to some of the larger wine estates, but it's quite nice for those who are looking for an updated feel.

Wonderful place to stay. Great job on the decor.Posted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: Room, location, breakfast, art, decor, staff, views.
Cons: Breakfast is great (fresh, tasty) but it would be good to vary the options daily. Menu never changed.
Location: Delaire Graff next door. Everything that can be done in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek.
Great place to stay in the Stellenbosch area. It is only 5 minutes out of Stellenbosch on the way to Franschhoek. Beautiful views, great room, great art, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and pervectly located. Right next to Delaire Graff estate (there is a gate between that makes it a 5 minute walk) which has 2 outstanding restaurants and also has amazing modern art. Perfect base to explore the area. Highly recommended.

The view was breathtakingPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Clouds Estate is a small boutique hotel, set in a vineyard that is up and coming. New owners have decorated it in a chic contemporary style, and have great plans for the vineyard. The service was excellent, the room very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. But, the most wonderful thing about Clouds Estate is the beautiful view. We sat by the pool and watched a sunset over the mountains that was breathtaking. Highly recommend

Wonderful location and viewsPosted Feb 2, 2012
Pros: Location and views
Location: Convenient for seeing the whole of the wine lands.
Wonderful location with exceptional views. Rooms very spacious and comfortable, Suite 2 had a large balcony with sink, cutlery, fridge and coffee and tea facilities - enough to enjoy a light evening meal. Shower disappointing for the standard of accommodation. Tokara is great to visit for lunch or dinner - the latter being the better option as there are wonderful sunset views over the valley. We found the Delaire Graff estate overrated and pretentious.

Happy Hotel ClientPosted Jan 8, 2012
Pros: Breakfast Excellent. Scenery amazing.
Cons: The adjoining cottages.
Location: Close to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek
Would not recommend cottages. But would highly recommend hotel accommodation.

Wonderful stay in a stunning setting.Posted Dec 6, 2011
Beautiful room in a wine estate overlooking a beautiful valley. Very warm welcome by delightful staff. This makes for a perfect break in a truly outstanding area, less than an hour from Cape Town. If returning to the area we would have no hesitation in staying here again. Outstanding value for money.

peace & calm in November 2011Posted Nov 19, 2011 on Hotels.com
My husband,my daughter & myself stayed at the Clouds estate, our self catering"chalet" was lovely with a shared swimming pool, unfortunately the weather was not very good. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, absolutely fabulous place to unwind amongst the vineyards. We chose to have breakfast in the hotel which was cooked to perfection.Pleasant & Helpful Owner and staff
