I appreciated having a kitchenette in our room as well as having 2 grocery stores in the mall- very convenient. Parking was easy. the room was always cleaned well by the staff. It was very nice that the lady at the front desk allowed us to borrow an electrical converter instead of having to go out and buy one.

Pleasant and Convenient Stay with Outstanding ViewPosted Mar 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were very comfortable at the Gardens. Although many people complain about the age of the appliances in the room, it is still a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. Being in a mall, makes it very convenient if you need to get supplies or have a meal. Don't worry if you arrive late, the mall security will kindly assist you in getting your keys and finding your room. The place is conveniently located very near roads that lead to Table Mountain and Camps/Clifton beaches. Views from the room were magnificent (Table Mountain on one side, and Table Bay on the other). It would be quite important for this hotel to start providing dish soap for the kitchen, and FREE Wi Fi (charging for wifi when you pay for a hotel is not cool). Overall, we would stay here again.

nice hotel, great locationPosted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: Location, view from the window (wonderful view of table mountain)
Location: Waterfront is in walking distance, if you can walk appr. one hour, but the streets are very safe. Dont go close to the train station
The hotel is in a big shoppingcenter, but all the shops are closing after 19 pm. So you should have be quick to buy something, and after 18 o'clock alcohol is not sold. Hotel staff was very pleasant and waited us till 19:00 for checkin even it was sunday. There is a mini kitchen where you can cook. Hotel was safe and comfortable. But there is no air-condition. Fortunately the women on the counter gave a fan.

Site needs to be updated!Posted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Decor, amenities...
Location: The location is close to downtown. Right inside of Table Mountain so the view was great. And it's very close to the highway.
Expedia (per apartment staff) needs to update the website on their listing. There was no sofa bed available. And WIFI was not free. The apartment is in a great location. The view was very beautiful. The apartment itself could stand for some updating. It was a little dated.

Great hotel for the price charged!Posted Dec 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great rooms and room service. Security was excellent. Lots of shops downstairs even for groceries. Stove is now too old and needs to be replaced. Elen, at the front desk probably needs to say hi to clients and smile. Otherwise great hotel for the price charged.

Excelent location within a Shopping CentrePosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Safe location within a shopping centre, parking included and bus stop on the corner; Internet is hit/miss and they want to change to charge by data transmited which will make it next to useless and expensive. Located inside a shopping Centre with a "Pick&Pay" downstairs allow guests to buy meals and prepare them on the kitchen of the room. Having rented a car, highly advisable, allow to go to WaterFront or Camps Bay in ten minutes. Bus Service on the corner make all the travels too lengthy in my opinion. Cape Town is a windy city - do not be afraid of the huge noises wind makes all over the corridors and room on the windows - consider it part of the experience. Overall, nice experience topped off by the extremely nice and pacient Ellen at the reception.
