Hotel close to the WaterfrontPosted Dec 15, 2014
Cons: Hotel cleanliness
The hotel is close to the waterfront and was easy to find. The rooms are quite spacious and had all amenties required for self catering. The hotel management could do better on hotel cleanliness - the place was a little dusty, mugs in the kitchen had rings of dirt from previous use, the couch had a huge stain which they tried to cover up with a small blanket/throw which itself was not clean. When housekeeping cleaned the room, there was not much improvement. When someone is checking in please dust and air the place thoroughly! Also the look and feel that is advertised is not the one that you get.

Some unexpected shortcomingsPosted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Size of rooms & comfortable seating
Cons: More attention to detail
Location: Quite near both the waterfront & centre of Cape Town, though busy roads may mean taxis are an essential.
Although I was upgraded to a large apartment, there were several shortcomings. There were no instructions on how to use any of the equipment, There were 2 DVD players, but one was not working & the other had no speaker connections. None of the curtains fitted the windows. The balcony looked out on to a busy road & the noise of traffic on that side of the apartment made me glad I had a choice of bedroom.

Great location. Close to the Waterfront & DowntoPosted Oct 16, 2014
Cons: Needs updating.
Location: Close to the waterfront and downtown.
Washer needs repairing. It take two or more hours to do one load. Microwave and toaster do not work. A couple of blinds do stay on the up position.

Lovely Apartments close to the waterfront and cityPosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: The convenience of being able to cook food in the apartment rather than eating out all the time and the generally excellent condition of the apartment
Location: very close to the city and the waterfront so there are lots of things to access very nearby. it was also easy to get to the hop on/hop off bus.
Lovely apartments in excellent condition and very close to the waterfront and the city. Very easy to walk to anywhere you want to. the only drawback is the proximity to the main road and traffic noise if you have windows or doors open.

Nice hotel close to V&A WaterfrontPosted Oct 4, 2014
I was very happy with the details of this hotel. When I booked - I thought it would be adequate. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised - the staff was very nice and helped with any questions, helped book day tours and airport transfers. They also had 24 hour security. The room had a great view and a full kitchen, including a washing machine. There is a grocery store 2 1/2 blocks away & the V & A waterfront was a short 15 minute walk. I will rebook for any future trips to Cape Town- wonderful people and wonderful city!!
