Hotel Pepper ClubPosted Oct 8, 2013
Cons: Bigger pool
Location: Plenty of pubs and close to all the amenities
Nice hotel in a convenient area but my God its noisy. Plenty of pubs and restaurants, and close to Table mountain.

Affordable Luxury in Cape Town City CenterPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Loved the service, spa, gym, and private screening room
Cons: I would love a second screening room, and a renewed ambiance for the restaurant would be great.
Location: Bars, clubs, boutiques, you name it because you are smack in the middle of it all!
I had the recent pleasure of staying at the Peper Club Hotel and Spa on a recent business trip to Cape Town. Of course I brought the Mrs. on the short trip from Johannesburg. While I was able to take advantage of the lounge, private screening room, and free WiFi, the Mrs. fully enjoyed the spa facilities and the proximity to the city's premiere boutique, bar, and lounge district. The staff was attentive, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and offered a degree of luxury surpassing the more expensive Westin or Tsogo Sun hotels. With only 200 rooms the staff gets to know you a bit on your stay and everyone is friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a business trip, weekend getaway, or luxurious base of operations for a vacation in Cape Town or the winelands.

Very good hotel located in the cityPosted Apr 10, 2013
Pros: The well furnished room.
Cons: The less than ideal location in the CBD.
Location: Its location in the CBD means everything is within walking distance but unfortunately, walking back alone at at night can feel a bit unsafe.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel. In fact, the room I stayed in, which was at the far end and had a wrap around balcony looking at Table Mountain, was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel decor modern. The only niggly thing is that it is a hotel in the city where it can feel a bit unsafe late at night or in the wee hours of the morning. I knew that when I booked so I have no complaints.

Great hotel for a getaway or a long-term stay!Posted Mar 27, 2013
The staff was exceptional. They helped us find the best activities for our desires and length of stay. The hospitality was amazing. The facilities are clean and modern. The location is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, Green Market, and bus stops. This hotel takes good care of their guests!

Great Exploring BasePosted Mar 19, 2013
Pros: Location and Staff
Cons: Pool deck in the shade
Location: Central and within easy reach of Camps Bay
Really liked the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and well appointed, we particularly liked the presence of a proper fridge in the room. (The bed was a little firm but that's a personal preference thing.) The location is really good and the free shuttle services they offer to and from the V&A Waterfront and Camps Bay are really useful - saved us quite a lot in taxi fares. The only negative point is that the pool area is always in the shade but on the plus side I can't believe there's a gym in the world with a better view! I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great base from which to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area.

A must!Posted Feb 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for 3 nights solely sue to having to stay in Cape Town after an operation following a fall. What a pleasant surprise! - Tastefully decorated hotel, attentive staff, excellent vibe and lovely bar and restaurant. Only down point is the nightclubs next door - on a Friday and Saturday they don't get quiet until around 5am...

Swanky spot near Long StreetPosted Jan 17, 2013
Cons: Sometimes breakfast wait staff were not attentive.
Location: Far from Waterfront but hear many restaurants.
Great experience! Hotel is very swanky. Breakfast spread was good and the services from the concierge were great! Take the Best of the Cape Day tour. So worth it!

Good hotel, great views, great locationPosted Nov 6, 2012
Pros: Location, view, facilities
Staff were ok, rooms were good. You will certainly hear noise at night from the bars on Long St. One of them played 'Call me Maybe' on repeat for four hours in the afternoon. Nice, clean, modern facilities, including a sweet gym. My balcony has a killer Table Mountain view. Recommend taking the free shuttle to Camp's Bay. Unfortunately I waited 30 min for the shuttle to take me back and it never came.
