Beautiful Cape Town

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Great location, lovely staff, excellent facilities
Cons: Rooms we had were getting ready for a refurb, but still perfectly acceptable.
Location: Great location on the M6 Sea point road. You are close to all the major Cape Town attractions.
Excellent hotel on the fringe of the upmarket sea point area, which has an abundance of restaurants, bars, hotels and shopping opportunities. A very safe and vibrant area. 15 minute walk to the amazing V&A waterfront, although if coming back at night advised to get a taxi which costs about R50 (£3). Hotel isn't spectacular, but like most proteas is always clean, rooms all have self catering facilities, two ring stove, full size fridge and microwave and crockery and cutlery. Room we had was probably nearing the end of its life time but perfectly clean and tidy. Decent buffet style breakfast. All staff we came across were extremely helpful and friendly, a credit to the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful. Helpful staff. I got a good cup of coffee just by wishing for it at check in. It was a surprise. Good view of Table mountain. Easy access in and out. A rainbow mix of staff. Comforting

Cape Cycle Tour Week end

Posted Mar 11, 2015 on Hotels
This is our second stay at this hotel and again we were very impressed with all aspects. The room was well appointed and all was very clean and comfortable. It is also ideally situated for the start and finish of the Cape Cycle Tour, also easy to get to either side of Cape Town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have already put our names down for next year, all being well. Thank you for making our stay in the Cape very comfortable and memorable.

Great location and very clean

Posted Jan 30, 2015
A little tired from the outside, however spotless and well-maintained inside. Excellent location, close to a Woolworths store and The Waterkant District, Cape Quarter and V & A Waterfront. I walked to yoga, at Yoga Life, every morning. Beaches a short drive and close to road network, to get out of town. View of Waterfront and Cape Town Bay, from room. Great to have kitchen and sitting area. Beds very comfortable and sheets super-fresh. Very convenient. Would use again. Staff very nice and helpful.
