Ibrahim was the starPosted Dec 9, 2014
I'm an American who stays in Joburg. Been undergoing some difficult surgeries as of late and my mother came from the U.S. to assist through some so I treated her to a weekend in Cape Town. The price from Expedia was cheaper than I expected and the hotel treated us like we were paying double. The restaurant had the best dinner than I've had in many months. The room was everything I needed and wanted, and the staff were great. The real star was Ibrahim, the manager, who acted as our special concierge. Made us feel like we were the only ones at the hotel. he booked us a great private tour along the Cape of Good Hope, and worked hard without asking to find restaurants and other bookings for us. If he's the face of the Queen Victoria, the hotel owners should know how well they've got it. He was exceptional. Thanks again, Ibrahim!

2nd time staying at this hotel would have highly recommended it even before this trip. My wife tokd hotel it was my birthday and they upgraded us to Presidental Suite which was fantastic. Rooms , staff and location all superb. My only slight negative is it can be a little noisy with music from V&A

Perfect gelegen hotelPosted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Ligging, eten, inrichting, personeel.

Excellent hotel, staff, restaurant & location.Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Restaurant , rooms, view & location
We had a wonderful stay at the Queen Victoria, from check in to check out all staff were very friendly and attentive. The Dash restaurant was excellent, we ate there twice during our stay. Location is ideal for the Waterfront attractions without being noisy. Thank you to all staff.

Great Hotel just a stones throw from V & APosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Great location at V & A but away from the hustle and bustle.
Cons: Room request procedure. Seemed to be little planning with regard to this.
Location: Perfect, with heaps to do at the V & A waterfront and a very safe part of Cape Town
Kicked off to a rocky start as we had requested an upper floor room which didn't happen. However the staff were excellent and were able to rectify the issue later during our stay. Great staff, great location and very comfortable rooms. Many thanks QV!
