Excellent location near waterfrontPosted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The food was excellent. The hotel was spotless throughout.service was excellent
Cons: The hotel lacked atmosphere and character - it was nearly too clean, too perfect. Perhaps a television or some music would help.
Location: Lots of really nice restaurants nearby. Many interesting shops at the waterfront. Bus tours terminus, Acquarium, link to Robben island really close.
I needed somewhere really nice to stay as I had just completed 2 weeks of voluntary work. This hotel was perfect.

Well done, quiet hotel in the busy V&A areaPosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: hotel design, breakfast
Location: V&A waterfront
Good experience, would stay there again. The staff were all well meaning, though sometimes service wasn't as expected. Some slow concierge and restaurant services. Hotel is beautifully done. Quiet rooms, not typical of V&A waterfront area. Great breakfast. Note that it's not super easy to find, so some cabbies have trouble finding it.

Boutique Hotel on the WaterfrontPosted Feb 20, 2014
Location: In the Waterfront complex. Close to everything.
Great Luxury hotel away from the bustle, but still in the Waterfront complex. Beautiful design of common areas and rooms. Great buffet breakfast, also available at the sister hotels. Close to all Cape Town attractions.

Treat Yourself!Posted Jan 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and I spent the first 3 days of our Christmas holiday at the Queen Victoria hotel. It goes without saying that the hotel's location is great, but what really made the difference for us was the comfort of our room, the incredible service of th hotel staff, and the quality of the food (the breakfast is amazing). Highly recommended!

Perfectly placed for the action without the noisePosted Jan 22, 2014
Small and relaxing hotel with massive rooms. The QV is directly opposite the waterfront action but just far enough away to avoid the noise and bustle. The pool and gym are well equipped. Top notch breakfast and the restaurant Dash is deservedly highly rated.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel, excellent staff. I wish all hotels were like that... The hotel is not too big, nor small. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom. + + +

Great hotel across the road from V & A Waterfront and hop on hop off buses. Couldn't fault it.
