Excellent location, excellent viewPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Location, view, food were all great.
Cons: Can't think of anything I would have improved.
Location: V&A waterfront is 10 minutes easy walk away. Plenty of shopping and eating.
My wife and I had a 3 day break here, in a business class room overlooking the sea. Excellent location:10 mins walk to waterfront and a fantastic view of sea and the mountains from the room. Concierges were very helpful indeed. Wonderful breakfast area a few feet from the sea.

Cocktails and dolphinsPosted Feb 25, 2014
This hotel is in a perfect setting. We had a business class room with ocean view, well worth the upgrade if you can afford it. Breakfast was lovely, complete with dolphins swimming past as you eat! There is a shuttle to the v and a waterfront however we ended up walking to make our reservations as the tiny bus was full at peak times and had to do return trips. The staff were all amazing except when we tried to book a late checkout, we were told the night before it looked very promising to stay an extra couple of hours however in the morning the manager said they were fully booked and we would have to leave. Something doesn't add up there. But otherwise staff were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Standard room was inadequate and not as advertisedPosted Jan 9, 2014
When pointed out to staff that room was inadequate this was quickly remedied by the guest relations person, Paul, providing a business class suite to apologize. The hotel staff was terrific.

Exactly what you want out of a SA vacationPosted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: We were told by many locals, and agree that it was amongst the nicest views in Capetown.
Cons: Giving guests an option to dine at the hotel when hosting private events.
Location: Walking distance to the V&A Marina which has a full scale large mall and dozens and dzens of places to eat and things to do.
The hotel is beautifully situated on the water and walking distance from the Victoria & Alfred Marina. If you didn't want to walk, they also provide round the clock shuttles. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and went out of their way on every request. The hotel indoor outddoor restaurant seems to be a meeting spot for many locals, no doubt for the great views and atmosphere. Seeing as we were there over Christmas, there were a number of private parties taking over the whole restaurant. My only wish was that they had another restaurant where patrons of the hotel could have eaten, or that the bar would at least have allowed us to order dinner from the kitchen and we could have eaten in the bar or poolside for that matter. We had to leave the hotel one too many times due to the evetns. Other than that everything was top otch in our opinion! :)

A very nice hotel, very close to the beachPosted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: 1) Location 2) Cleanliness 3) Friendly/efficient staff 4) Good value
Cons: 1) Improve the offering on the a la carte menu 2) review the laundry charges as it can be expensive for large families or groups
Location: 1) Table mountain 2) Waterfront shopping 3) Visit to the Townships 4) Drive to Stellanbosch, Cape Point, etc
We were staying in business class rooms ( a family of six). They had a fantastic sea view which was a tremendous bonus. The rooms were large enough, well serviced and very comfortable The buffet breakfast was excellent and the front desk staff, concierge , support staff and restaurant waiters were all very efficient and friendly. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we were very happy to watch the fireworks from our balcony as they were being fired from the sea right in front of opur rooms. All in all, we had a very enjoyable and successful stay at the Radisson. Not only will we recommend it to our friends and family, but we'll definitely be back. The only minor points of note are: The a la carte menu is rather limited and the laundry charges are quite high, and so we had to take our clothes to an off site laundrette

Superb in Every WayPosted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: Decor, spacious room, superb staff. Also, free bottled water.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Good location in walking distance to nearby shopping mall. Half hour to Table Mountain - a definite must see!
Gorgeous hotel on the waterfront. Staff service was beyond top notch: friendly, professional, eager to please, helpful with directions, and gave the impression they truly loved their job. Room was spacious and modern. Great workout facilityincluding a functioning sauna. Food was great and you could have seating out near the water. Will stay here again!

Great hotel by the beachPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: The location and view were simply amazing! We even managed to catch a glimpse of a whale passing by from our hotel room. Super!
Location: The V&A Waterfront is a great place as there is something for everyone, shopping, restaurants, craft market, aquarium, buskers, etc
We had a fantastic stay at the Radisson Blue Waterfront. The ambiance of this hotel which faces the Atlantic Ocean is simply breathtaking. Sitting at the cafe you hear the sound of the waves crashing on the breakers and the seagulls flying overhead. It is centrally located within walking distance to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and close by to the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. This is my second stay at this hotel and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely come back again.
