Central locationPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Location and the service provided. Excellent leisure facilities
Cons: Service at The Mint
Location: National Assembly, Presidential residence, museums, town hall and gardens
The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. Within an easy walk of all the main tourist areas. The guided walk offered by the hotel is an excellent orientation to the city. The complimentary valet service if you have a car is extremely useful and the hotel is only a 5-10 minutes drive to the waterfront. Would definitely recommend the Bombay Brassiere but not The Mint where the service was extremely disappointing. Breakfast is superb and will not disappoint. Would definitely go back.

Central hotel, great staffPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: The location was good and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: The bacon at breakfast could have been crispier, but that is not a real problem in the grand scheme!
Location: At the south of Company Gardens, and next to the Slave Lodge and District 6 museum. Very close to Long Street but a taxi ride to V&A waterfront.
Really comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very well set out with everything we needed. We ate breakfast here and were very pleased with the selection and quality of the food. We ate in the Indian restaurant one night and this was really excellent. Overall though the staff were all delightful and couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome.

Location: It is near the company gardens and most museums, it is near many food places as well, easy to walk around in the day time.
the taj cape town was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, the hotel is beautiful and clean but the people that work their make it special. You are always greeted with a warm smiling face. They made me feel like I was home although I was 10,000 miles away. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in cape town

heaven centralPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Mostly being there and total service.
Cons: The length of my stay.
Location: Central Capetown, Museum of Slavery across the road, Desmond TOTOs cathedral next door. Theatre of African Dance 5 mins away. public sight seeing bus.
Excellent staff, first rate food in the Brasserie and Mint and Bistro Twanky. Quality service and breakfast, ( thank you Faith). Nice Heritage room with first class room and housekeeping service. SPA very good, competent and good value. We had a wonderful time not least for the choice of this hotel. Already a TATA fan for their Landrovers brands I am now a fan of the Taj brand.

Very good hotel with great amenities and services. Convenient location, within a 10-15 drive from most good restaurants and a good number within walking distance.
