Hotel in CBD of Cape TownPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Very convinient location in CBD
Cons: Housekeeping service could definitely be improved.
Location: Right in the central business district near Parliament, Museums and Garden. Good shopping and several eating places nearby.
An enjoyable stay in the hotel right in CBD close to Garden, Museums and Parliament. Even though it is a bit far from V&A Waterfront, hotel shuttles are provided to the Waterfront as well as the Table Mountain.

Pure luxuryPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The five star style and the warm staff
Cons: Had to find any thing wrong but one little thing was in our bedroom the side board by the desk had a few chips out of it.
Location: Excellently located downtown and beside the company gardens, gallery, museum, planetarium.
What a treat it was to stay at the Taj Cape Town. We felt so spoilt in every way. The rooms are elegant and spacious and the lap pool was an added bonus. The staff were professional and warm and very accommodating with respect to our requests for our seven year old son. Dinner at the Bombay Brasserie was breath taking, some of the best Indian food I have ever had. and the huge buffer breakfast well worth the linger. Twankey bar also a treat!

Excellent hotel with great views of Table MountainPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Really good service and food at very reasonable prices. All of their restaurants offer excellent menus and top service.
Cons: Hard to improve on exceptional performance.
Location: Location is central but about 20 mins walk from e.g.the conference centre. The city is interesting with plenty of security on show. Taxis cheap.
A very comfortable hotel with exceptional levels of service. Staff really go out of their way to make guests welcome and the standards are first class. Would recommend this a great place to stay in Cape Town

taj hotel cape townPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to facilitate when asked to do so and in doing this made the stay more than enjoyable
Cons: gym a little small if you like that type of thing as with the small pool
Location: central location for town centre and a hub for attractions nearby
a most enjoyable stay from day one early check in but no problem as room made available. most attentive and helpful friendly staff throughout our stay. Room very well appointed and well maintained throughout. Breakfast a most enjoyable experience with all tastes well catered for. Mint restaurant most satisfactory and reasonable price wise. A smoking room adjacent to lobby available for those who need one.

Really enjoyed our stay - worth the extra costs and pity it was only for one night. Attention to detail is above normal.
