Wonderful B&B in gorgeous Franschoek. Staff were very courteous and kind. Room was spacious, clean, well-maintained. Breakfast is excellent, including hot food (eggs prepared to order), pastries and fresh fruit juices. Location is a short walk from Franschoek’s main street, which features many galleries, stores and restaurants. Parking on-site within the gated compound.

Stayed a few times. Ideal location. The only suggestion to the owners is to move the safe. It is on the floor. No use for the disabled or elderly.

Excellent staff. Allowed us to park early morning on our arrival without any problems. Also allowed us to check in at 10.00 so we didn't have to rush back. Lovely comfortable room with great breakfast

We spent 2 nights. The service was very good as was the breakfast and coffee. The rooms were comfortable. The pool and surroundings needed a little loving though. The location was only a few blocks from the main road with galleries and restaurants. An overall lovely experience.

Everything about The Corner House was excellent. Our only downside about our stay was that We were not staying Longer Will definitely be recommending The Corner House to friends and family.

The guest house sits in such a pretty location only a walk away from Main Street but at the same time it’s very quiet! The veranda, gardens and pool area are just a delight! So lovely and beautiful! The room that we were given was beautifully decorated, simple and elegant! Michaela was so lovely and friendly and made sure that we have everything! The staff were also extremely sweet and helpful! Breakfast was great! An absolute success. From the set up of the tables to the coffee and all the varieties of food that we had, including a made to order choice of eggs!! On our last day, michaela was happy to let us stay an extra 3 hours after our check out time, so we enjoyed the pool and the garden since it was so hot!! Our only tiny complain would be that the bed even though was very comfortable with beautiful linen was quite short length wise. Me and my daughter are medium height. Someone taller would have a problem sleeping on that bed. The bathroom fittings could do with an update. We would happily stay again at the Corner House! A delight!!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was great, very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast. Excellent location in walking distance of restaurants and the wine tram. We had a lovely stay at the Corner House Guest House and would definitely recommend them.

Excellent guest house in Franshoek
This small guest house is situated in a quiet area. It is only a few minutes walk to the main street. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly and there is parking inside a gate. I would certainly stay there again.

Peaceful area, yet 5mins away from the city centre. Welcome letter & bottle of wine as my father and I were celebrating our b'days. Speedy check-in, friendly staff, free parking, beautifully-maintained house & garden. Last but not least: huge & delicious breakfast spread (buffet à-la-carte). Thank you, we had a great stay!

Perfect walking distance to the Main Street! Awesome stay with very friendly staff, beautiful grounds and large clean room! Fireplace was a bonus. The small touches were also very appreciated and made it feel so welcoming. Breakfast was by far one of the best we have had in a bed and breakfast. Fresh produce and the croissants were to die for. Wonderful location, beautifully designed and decorated. Very clean with excellent kitchen facilities. Only preference would have been for actual single bed sizes in the second bedroom. These beds ... a bit small! Master bedroom, lovely.

Great location with only a couple minutes walk into the main street. Very quiet street. Staff very attentive and a fabulous breakfast! Pool was a great relief from the heat and the also the air con in the room. Everything very clean and very nice bedroom/bathroom. Can't complain about anything. Me and my wife absolutely loved our stay at the corner house. Having finished our 3 weeks across SA this was our favourite place of our trip! Breakfast was just what we needed after long days drinking the Franschhoek wine :-). We were treated to an upgrade and the room and bathroom were spotless and bed was very comfortable.

A charming, friendly guesthouse close to the main street with stylish rooms with comfortable beds , a log fire which we lit and electric blankets.We were there in the winter but the gardens would be beautiful in the height of summer with a small pool to enjoy. Breakfast was a selection of healthy options , with a cooked breakfast and a good pot of coffee. Would recommend price wise and for the hospitality ,hope to be back soon.

2 night stay here after a mini trip around SA. We had a little trouble getting into the property (apparently the bell to the side gate was not working) which wouldn’t have been a problem but the heavens decided to open at that point & we were a little damp when we finally got inside! The Corner House itself is lovely & looks recently refurbished. We were in room one which opened directly onto the veranda, again the rain spoilt our ability to use this but it would be beautiful in the summer. The bed was large & comfortable with gorgeous, soft Cotten sheets (there is also an electric blanket for when it’s chilly) & the bathroom was clean & shower powerful (still water restricted so short showers recommended). Breakfast was included & the selection was large for a small place & all home made, from Bircher muesli & muffins to eggs & bacon. Service was with a smile & staff were friendly and approachable. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat.

Well located and unbeatable hospitality
We had an amazing time in Franschhoek in part because of our stay at the Corner House. It is well located, spacious and quiet. The staff are very helpful. The owner helped us get a last minute reservation for an amazing meal just down the street. We loved the little attentions and amenities. We will be back!
