Location, view and actual apartment was good - poor communication on booking (booked an airport transfer and no one turned up) - facilities also poor within complex - lift wasn’t working for the week we were there and had to carry luggage up and down 3 floors - and air conditioner didn’t work in bedroom - reported it to reception and they said they would fix, however, at no time during the week did anyone look at it

The apartment was spacious and had a fridge ,freezer ,washing machine etc which was great . Lovely views . Attention to detail lacking however . Having to ask for a plug to have a bath is not acceptable . A broken fan isn’t either . A shame as it would put me off returning.

The property looks exactly like the pictures. No surprises. The room was in great condition and clean. The view was amazing from our room and from the pool area. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Bradley checked us in and out promptly he was very helpful with helping us book day trips and activities and finding places to eat. Housekeeping cleaned tidied the room daily. I would recommend and book again in the future

Perfectly located, awesome view. Excellent value for money, and service was perfect. Great team of staff helping us in. Very private experience. Great stay, beautiful apartments
Great stay at The Crystal Apartments. The room was huge and immaculately clean. It is suitable for those that want to self cater. The facilities were very good and had no issues, check in was easy and quick. The location is very safe and picturesque, however we would have liked to have been slightly closer to Camps Bay, but not an issue if you use Uber. We would return again.

Disappointing service from start to finish
This unfortunate and disappointing experience comes from what could be a fantastic location for a luxury apartment. We had flown from the UK with a 1year old baby. In summary the following aspects were completely substandard: 1) geezer was broken and therefore no hot water for two days 2) when asked how to restore hot water we were told incorrect information (to do with a circuit switch) and no assistance 3) we were told to wash our baby in our bucket with hot water from a kettle 4) we were then transferred to another apartment with bedding that had another person’s blood on them 5) we were charged to twice for the room 6) I am still waiting for a refund on my card 7) I am unable to contact anyone at all to chase this refund despite trying all contact numbers. Think carefully before staying here (unless you like poor service, cold water, blood on your sheets and no communication).

Do not stay here!!! This property was dirty with tons of hair all over the bathroom floor. The hotel promised light cleaning through out our stay but the maid never came once during our stay. Because the Hotel didnt have the cleaning service that was promised, we had to request clean towel everyday. The washing machine had a horrible mold smell coming from it too so we couldn't ever us it and had to travel with dirty cloths. There are sooo many other options to stay at in Camps Bay for the price so I would suggest you keep looking.

Great for a short stay
These apartments are great for a short stay. It's more like an AirBnB than a hotel. The apartments are well equipped with TV, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, full kitchen and utensils and are a short walk down to Camps Bay beach (10-15 mins downhill). Taxi home is about £3 using Uber. Nice bathrooms and clean/modern apartment overall. Secure underground parking provided. My only complaint is that the soundproofing is VERY poor. You can hear every chair move, cupboard opening in the adjoining apartments and I'm not a light sleeper. For this reason I wouldn't stay too long.

Comfortable in Camps Bay.
Excellent location, comfortable apartment but poorly designed layout meant we had to have our wits about us not to bang our heads on the cooker hood and towel racks in each bedroom. We had to hang things off of both to avoid walking into them! Other than that however the apartment was great. Lovely views, safe off road car parking and a nice pool.

Excellent accommodation in a great location.
Really good accommodation. Very comfortable. Views from the balcony are superb. Felt maybe that we were the first guests of the new season and they weren't fully up to speed. Swimming pools had not been cleaned. Prospective guests should be aware of the steep climb back up to the property from Camps Bay.

We have stayed at the Crystal before and it really had the wow factor. This time the apartment was looking quite tired, some of the décor and furniture could do with refreshing. The windows were very dirty which spoilt what otherwise would have been fantastic views.

Lovely views from the balcony and pools.
It was difficult to make a meal as there was no small containers of even salt and pepper, and so we felt it was easier to eat out most of the time. Most people probably only stay over one or two nights. We were there for 3 weeks.

Lovely Appartment with Sea View
This was our first experience of an apartment whilst staying in Camps Bay and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience and how safe we felt. The apartments are set into the hillside which affords them a sea view over Camps Bay. On arrival we were made very welcome and all the facilities explained not to mention the added bonus of use of the beach club at The Bay Hotel which we didn't know about. The apartment itself was clean and modern with all the facilities you could ask for along with a balcony to sit out and enjoy the view. There are two small pool areas with infinity pools and nice wooden loungers that were very comfortable. Underground parking is provided which was great as it is a steep climb up the hill from Camps Bay to the apartment and we were glad of the use of our hire car!
