Sehr gutes Hotel in zentraler LagePosted Jan 29, 2015

Comfortable apartment in a nice areaPosted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: We liked the helpfulness of the staff and its position in Cape Town. They also run a shuttle the the Water Front shopping and restaurant complex
Cons: Just one area could be improved there was a lack of shelves in the bathroom to store personal items i.e. electric shaver and toothbrushes etc
Location: Good position in Cape Town for sightseeing and walking. Beaches can be reached by bus and many day tours can arranged at the hotel
We found the hotel very helpful and our apartment was excellent with a great view of Table Mountain. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge and bedroom very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were pleasent and helpful although a little laid back but living in Spain we were used to it. It was close to shops and some good restaurants although we were disappointed with the service from the Doppio Zero in house restaurant it was very slow and the meal delivered to our room was cold. Close by was a stop for the Hop on Hop Off busses and the Myciti busses so getting around Cape Town was very easy. We rated or holiday in Cape Town as one of our best and we will certainly return and stay at the Mandela Rhodes Place hotel

excellent locationPosted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: The location
Location: very close to the city centre
We booked the hotel through Expedia via Trivago and got a good deal for the price. We did appreciate the helpof the staff and, in particular, the location of the hotel, where is just in the centre of Cape Town and very convenient.

Central area in Cape Town next to ParkPosted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Good location, and excellent room
Cons: I was happy with everything about the hotel. I didn't seem to get the correct billing on my receipt though.
Location: The location is central near the street which is lively and full of street vendors in the day. Not very safe at late night though!
I had a magnificent suite with balcony (2nd floor only) looking over Table mountain, with kitchen, spare bedroom, living room. I think I was lucky as i was given this at the regular rate, and most do not have balconies, except 2F.

Could do better if they triedPosted Nov 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room was fine, with a perfect view of Table Mountain. We booked two nights via two different bookings but management were unable to let us have the same room for two nights meaning we had to move. Were offered un upgrade but this is the first time we had to do this in years of travel. Conversation was difficult with reception staff as they seemed to be deliberately confusing. Bedroom was succeptible to noise from fans and the outside environment.

Staying at MRP was a bliss :-)Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Its Zen apartments and the vivacious lobby.
Cons: At this time I can't think of anything.
Location: One of the entries leads to St. Georges' Mall - a pedestrians only street lined up with street vendors and sidewalk coffee shops, shops and banks.
This was may second time staying at MRP and the experience was as good as the first one - it felt as being at home, away from home, so much that I always felt eager to return to the hotel and relax. This time I stayed (by myself) in spacious and extremely comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with a minimalist & contemporary decor, spot clean and well equipped with a kitchen and washing machine. The lobby of the hotel is still very lively with the surrounding curio store, the coffee shop and the gallery store. The neighborhood is surrounded by shops and staple places (restaurants, gardens, museums) to visit.
