Superior LocationPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location.
Cons: Make the breakfast price more comparable to the nearby restaurants.
Location: It is centered in the tourist-friendly waterfront with a mall, restaurants, bars, tourist venues and shopping within feet of the hotel.
The Hotel was in the best of location in the heart of the vibrant and exciting Cape Town Waterfront. I could not have picked a better location in town. The restaurant was nice and its breakfast bar was very extensive but one would expect that for the higher price paid for breakfast in the hotel as opposed to one of the many nearby restaurants. The front desk was helpful in getting any issues taking care of but was not as friendly as one would expect after meeting so many very friendly people in town. The best people in the hotel were the door staff and the valets who always met everyone with a smile and the absolute best kindness. The rooms were very comfortable and quite large; well worth the price for sure. Given the chance I would not hesitate in staying in the hotel again.

Room with a ViewPosted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: The room was huge! The service was great!
Cons: Might need a bit of a facelift...cosmetics, only...the personnel are terrific.
Location: This hotel has the best location...Victoria Wharf is safe to walk around...there are SO many eating places near the hotel.
We had a great room overlooking Table Mountain & the marina. The breakfast buffet is amazing!! I would recommend this hotel & look forward to staying here again...hopefully in the near future!

Luxury in a fantastic locationPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff, lovely rooms, great food, and wonderful location.
Cons: The pool across the road is small and full of seagulls.
This is an excellent hotel, spacious bedrooms with everything you need in a wonderful location. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water in glorious sunshine was special. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby to choose from but the dinner we had here was one of the best. Our car was parked for us each time we arrived, free of charge. And getting about to visit places round Cape Town is easy. The roads are great and well sign posted. The only drawback was the small pool over the road but a very peaceful place to while away an hour. We have already decided to return next year!

Perfect locationPosted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location
Good location for restaurants and sightseeing, excellent parking, wifi was an issue to start with but staff were very attentive and got it sorted, room overlooked the piazza which we thought may have a noise issue but in actual fact it proved to be a very quiet location

Pros: perfectly positioned in the Waterfront. breakfast on the pier with beautiful view of table mountain and the harbour. complementary parking. nice shops

Location: waterfront shops and restaurants. table mountain at sunset, craft market in the waterfront, biscuit mill food market and shop
the Hotel was perfectly placed for a relaxing holiday in Cape Town. we had a mountain view room and it was huge and beautiful. Hotel staff were great the facilities very good. a special mention should go to Manager Lynn who welcomed us when we arrived and provided exemplary customer service. gym and pool and spa is in boutique hotel opposite 5mins walk.

Great if you want to be really in the WaterfrontPosted Jan 27, 2014
Stayed just one night having stayed at their sister hotel as well. Room was confortable but I wasn't very impressed with the restaurant. Our evening meal was dissapointing given the price / competition in the area. What pleased me greatly was that we had a late flight and they granted us a late check out without charge.

Although the rooms could do with a little up dating , the ambiance and history of this hotel makes it very special. The location makes it second to none!!
