Nice, large rooms. Clean and very secure.

Pros: It's convenience to the Waterfront and the staff were great, very accommodating
Cons: More soap in the bathrooms. Had to ask
Location: The Waterfront is a great place to base yourself because you can do everything there. Eat, shop arrange tours, bars. Plus the scenery. A jewel.
A ferry trip to Robben Island, cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain. Lunch in Hout Bay. The hop on hop off bus. District 6 museum and that's just in Cape Town. Paarl and Stellenbosch, the wineries, wow can't believe how much we did in just 9 days!!!! Can't wait to go back and drive the Garden route to J Bay.

A reasonable place to stay

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Apartments were attractive and had good facilities
Cons: Airconditioning and wifi
Location: The location is a bit isolated with a reasonable walk to the waterfront. A long way from reception as well.
The Village is an apartment complex with rooms rented as if it were a hotel, but services are not particularly hotel like. The checkin is a long way from the rooms. Had problems with the electronic security pass. Wifi didn't work in bedroom (but was OK in the main apartment). Airconditioning was extremely load leaving one to choose between hot or noisy. Apartment was spacious and in good repair with good facilities. Better suited to holidays than business.

Waterfront Feeback

Posted Mar 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here 4th > 11th March 2014: Secure location (with free parking - always useful in CPT!), and fully equipped and well maintained, serviced (except Sundays) 2bedroom unit. Safe walking distance into main Waterfront area, and also into CPT centre or Greenpoint area. Overall the unit had everything down to basics, eg: washing machine & tumble dryer, iron & board, haridryer etc; only downside was the charge for Wifi in the unit. Room charge was not cheap at £225/night (to sleep 4), but would highly recommend if you can afford it.

Best hotel in Cape Town

Posted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Security is very good to prevent others to come into the compound.
Cons: Internet is very expensive.
Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants around waterfront area
The hotel set as an apartment compound in a very secure property. Only 15 minutes walk to the waterfront area. The one bedroom include living room, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, big refrigerator including all utensil. I would strongly recommend for another visitor to Cape Town.

Superb apartment in great location

Posted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: Location; comfort; well-maintained
Cons: Disappointing that gym/pool are not included within price paid
Location: Would recommend the Waterfront as a place to stay - great atmosphere
Spent five nights at the Waterfront Village - had a one bed apartment which was immaculately maintained and very comfortable - lovely open plan living space with separate bedroom and bathroom - more like a flat to live in than stay in. Great location too, just a short walk from the main restaurants and buzz of the waterfront.

This is not a hotel but an apartment complex.

Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: Quality of suites, location, security.
Cons: Putting a convenience store on or beside the property
The property is about 15 beautiful condo buildings, well located in the V&A Waterfront complex, surrounding a tranquil lagoon. The units have a full kitchen and even laundry facilities but there is no restaurant on the property. However the One and Only hotel at the end of the property provides an incredible breakfast for about $21; not inexpensive but well worth the price. Alternatively, there is a supermarket in the V&A mall for those who want to do their own meals. Security is incredibly tight in the complex which provides some hassle but also comfort and safety. For sightseeing around Cape Town suggest the Hop on Hop off bus, $15 for one day, 25 for two[two different routes]. Suites with view of Table Mountain seem to be in demand but they also face traffic. For peace and tranquility, sitting on your patio viewing the lagoon is my preference.
