“Hotel 5 Seasons Stellenbosch”

We stayed at this Guest House last week. The property was situated on a lovely residential street. Our room was very nice, with its own deck area surrounded by lush plants. The hosts were very friendly and accommodated our request for a late check out with no fuss whatsoever. This really helped us out. Staying here is a pleasure Thanks a lot

“Guest House in Stellenbosch”

This was a very pleasant stay and Stellenbosch is a very attractive small town in the wine area near Cape Town. This hotel is really a guest house and serves breakfast but but no other meals. Self catering is possible in most of the apartments. It is about 2 km from the centre of Stellenbosch where most of the restaurants are and the hotel management did not recommend walking back at night. Better if you have hired a vehicle for your stay. The accommodation is of a high standard, the breakfast is very good and there is a nice pool side area.

“Don't book this B&B”

Overpriced. The hotels calls itself a spa; in reality it offers a visiting massage service provided by a local wine estate (who offer this service anyway to all the local hotels). There is a pool but it is very small and by 0830 there were towels on all the loungers (The guesthouse seems owned and occupied by Germans). Seiously though, my main gripe is that the web description in unrealistic. The location is supposed to be 10 minutes walk from the centre of town which is wholly untrue; it is a good 10 minutes even by car.
