“Fabulous start to holiday”

An excellent choice of hotel, which, by far exceded expectations. Our suite was immaculate. Kitchen area included fridge/freezer, microwave etc, and even had a washing machine & dishwasher. Friendly staff, informative and so eager to please. Hotel ideally situated for visiting the Waterfront area which is less than a ten minute walk.

Very spacious, well equipped, fantastic views of the World Cup Stadium. Staff were first class, courteous, helpful. Only problem we had was with the hot water - once 2 of our party (in a 3 bedroom en suite suite) had a bath/shower the water was cold for several hours and the others had to wait. This was irritating and outweighed by the general standard. Fully recommend.

I have lost my baggage on the way to Cape Town, the concierge clerk was very helpful on trying to find it. When I came back home, my suitcase was waiting for me... Thanks to the staff!

“Excellent hotel - highly recommended”

I was surprised to find the hotel was relatively new (around 3 years) seeing that the structure was like old world beauty. Our check-in was very personalized - private desks for individual check-in and not long counters like in most hotels. Service was very efficient. We went to the roof deck restaurant and asked the waiter what time they would close and he said as long as we were there it would be open! Man, did I feel Special! The hotel rooms very beautifully constructed with a lot of space and full amenities. Our 2 bedroom suite had its own kitchen and dining set with full facilities (washer, oven, even a clothes washer). The night we were there one of the television sets in one of the rooms had a problem with the signal so it was turning on and off and we could not watch on that television. We called for service, the butler came to our room and they needed to do some adjustments but it was a bit late at night so we decided not to push thru with it. In return, the butler sent us a bottle of wine for our incovenience even though there were 2 other TV sets we can use in suite. I've been to many hotels and I wish I could say that this kind of attention and service when you are incovenienced is common place but its not so EXCELLENT marks to the staff and to the hotel. I will surely recommend this hotel to everyone going to Cape Town!

“Exceeded Expectations”

My wife and I stayed at Cape Royale only one night but we wish we had a week there. Beautifully decorated, elegant luxury. The staff was friendly and the amenities in the room were extensive including en suite laundry and a complete kitchen. The concierge (Ryan) and driving staff went out of there way to give us a comfortable short stay.

A fantastic property and staff. Very elegant and comfortable. The room was roomly an comfortable. Much more than we expected. Hotel offered complimentary transportation to nearby restaurants, etc in a beautiful Jaguar.

This Hotel was just perfect! good location, high quality service, everybody was friendly and waiting to help you . If I have to go there again I would stay there. The Vallet Parking service, the shuttle, the concierg service etc, etc ... EXCELLENT!

i dont normally spend my time on reviews but we have just had the best stay ever at the Cape Royale , it is not just another 5 star hotel, it is a cut above the rest , immaculate ,stunning , friendly , helpfull , the list could go on and on. We will go back even at double the price we paid this time . we have about 4 holidays a year in many different hotels all over the world and when you book on the net you never know what you will find when you get there , this is what they should all be like !

“Great place to stay in Cape Town”

We had a great time in Cape Town and this was made even better by this excellent hotel which did not disappoint! Very comfortable apartment style (we had a 2 room apartment overlooking the V & A) with all the mod cons from home. Less than a 10 minute walk to the V & A or book the free shuttle which was also an excellent service offered. Secure underground parking also a bonus. Room service was good and pretty quick as well. Highly recommended!
