“Couldn't be more helpful!”

The day before we were to check in (we were still on a cruise ship) and we went to get info on activities, bag storage, etc. They couldn't have been more helpful. Helped us plan an excellent all day tour for our last day. Every request we had, they couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. We arrived mid morning and were allowed to check into a very nice room way before check in time. Breakfast buffet was excellent -- even had a pianist playing! Our entire experience was excellent! Hated to leave!

Area recommendations

This area was good as it was close to Table Mountain, downtown and was a block from the "Hop On - Hop Off" tour bus that circled the city every 15 minutes.

Getting around

The Hop On and Hop Off Tour Bus was an excellent bargain and took us to all of the tourist and business places. We bought a two-day pass, which was cheaper, and we used it both days on three different routes.

“Excellent service”

This hotel gave excellent service. An example was an express-mail for me that came ffom the US and arrived about a week before I did. I had called in advance and asked the hotel to hold it for me. Within 5 minutes after I checked in, the mail was delivered to my room.

Area recommendations

Downtown, Many places can be walked to. Taxi fares are cheap. Several restaurants, including one in hotel. Close-by auto-rental agencies

“good value for money”

good hotel, helpful staff, excellent location. good value for money. pool on the roof makes a nice cool-down area. will stay here again.

“Would go back.”

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and it was just as good as we expected. It's located downtown and very close to the waterfront, which was good too. Just don't expect much from the swimming pool which was a lot smaller than it looks on the pictures. I would recommend it for people who are going to enjoy the city and not so much the hotel as it's not a resort or a place for kids to hang out.

Area recommendations

I would recommend for people to stay downtown or at the waterfront if they're renting a car to go to all trhe other places as well. And I would also recommend Camps Bay which is a great area for hanging out at the beach and afternoon drinks and/ or eating.
