“Surpassed all expectations”

My husband and I and 3 friends (for whom I had booked) were absolutely delighted with everything about the hotel. The location was convenient for shops, tours etc. The staff couldnt have been more pleasant or helpful, the breakfasts - and the pianist - and the restaurant were wonderful. The hotel drivers provided an excellent service and, again, went out of their way to be helpful. A wonderful trip which we hope to repeat and would definitely in Cape Town Lodge again.

The service was excellent, and staff friendly and efficient. Slightly away from centre but within easy walking distance. Good shuttle service to Waterfront and easy to get taxis for return. Would use this hotel again.

“Excellent Hotel”

The Staff at the Cape Town Lodge put themselves out to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Members of staff always greet you with a smile and nothing is too much bother for them. The hotel is clean and well maintained and housekeeping is excellent. The location is great for the "traditional Cape Town" inc. the Malay Quarter and Long Street areas. Breakfast is good and includes a great choice, although the staff could do with livening up in this area. The Butchers Grill is obviously great for non vegetarians but otherwise limited on choice. The resident singer each evening was rather dull, however and put us off a second visit to the restaurant. All in all, a great hotel in a good location with modern amenities and very friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is very central and has easy walking access to the centre of Cape Town and you drive left to Table mountain and turn right for the V&A waterfront shops which are both about 10 mins away. Excellent service and also has the added benefit of parking for a small amount.

“Couldn't be more helpful!”

The day before we were to check in (we were still on a cruise ship) and we went to get info on activities, bag storage, etc. They couldn't have been more helpful. Helped us plan an excellent all day tour for our last day. Every request we had, they couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. We arrived mid morning and were allowed to check into a very nice room way before check in time. Breakfast buffet was excellent -- even had a pianist playing! Our entire experience was excellent! Hated to leave!

All round service of staff (Reception/restaurant/room server/bar/musican) excellent. Friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel. Close to shops and outdoor markets, walking distance to Museums and the Water Front. Lovely little cafes to eat and watch the world go by.
