“Great Value in a Perfect Location”

This is a good hotel, well run by friendly staff. The location is excellent being just a short distance from the V&A Waterfront and the Convention Centre. It is also close to the main shopping area down town. A free shuttle runs to the V&A hourly. The large rooms are great value with the added bonus of a complementary breakfast. A great find.

I have never had better service from any other hotel. The hotel staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. They need to get their WIfi internet fixed it goes out every 30 minutes and their fee for using their computers is very expensive.

The Capetonian more than satisfied my expectations. Its location was central and convenient to everything. Our room was large, nicely appointed and had a great view of Table Mountain. Apparently, the hotel has undergone a recent renovation from top to bottom. A daily breakfast buffet was offered as part of our package and it offered variety for the multi-national travelers that were staying at the hotel. I would return.

“Reasonably Priced Hotel Close to Cape Town Convention Centre”

The hotel is a well maintained hotel offering clean accomodation in the heart of Cape Town. For those attending a meeting at the Cape Town convention centre on a budget, it is a reasonable compromise as the hotel is directly across the raod from the convention centre. The internet in the hotel did not work and the hot water in the bath was a challenge. However, the rooms are clean, bed comfortable and staff courteous. At the price, it is a good deal.

“Excellent service & good location”

All the staff were very friendly & keen to help you. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus hourly to the V&A Waterfront, which is approx a 10 minute drive away. You can walk to it, however as with all over Cape Town, it is recommended to not walk about after dark. However, we walked around freely in the daytime, as the hotel was in a good location for all the local sites. The rooms are to a good standard & cleaned daily. Air conditioning was standard in the room as was a safety deposit box, which didn't have to be paid for. Buffet breakfast was included & there is a huge variety of food to choose from. The hotel has lots of information on tours and will book any tour that you wish to take for you. We had a tour booked for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this hotel & would not hesitate to stay there again.

Good Hotel and location, however don't wait outside for the shuttle bus back to the airport, go bug them if the driver's not there, as he didn't turn up until I went to check what was going on 20 mins late!

“Down to Earth Hotel with Perfect Business Location”

The hotel has ideal location for those attending events held in Convention Center. Although there are just a few hotels located in the walking vicinity to the Convention Center, this is really a value for money proposal. Unfortunately, there are some minor disappointments - for example, internet connection (wi-fi in rooms) is very slow (< 100 KBps), and quite often the signal is disappearing. Another wetbanket is ongoing construction site that makes rooms facing seaside really noisy. However, if you are not staying in the room all day, this does not matter much. Hotel has unbeatable location in downtown and reasonable rates.
