“Fantastic Hotel!”

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Room was literally STUNNING. A full on apartment - beautiful bathroom, big lounge, enormous flat screen TV, a separate toilet. Could not believe how amazing the room was when we walked in! Really central location and easily walkable. Very quiet area so no disturbances at night. The staff were incredibly helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

“good location, great value, a shame for only 1 night”

location is within a 20 minute walk to V&A, restaurants very handy. a room is a suite - living room with leather couches, large screen tv, complete litchen, king bed and large bathroom. Excellent value. Thanks

“Good place for the price”

Hotel is located close enough to walk to the waterfront -15mins. To conference center -5mins. Try to get a room on the court side for less noise. And stay away from ground floor suites, they are like a concrete cell. Suites are a good size. The doors to the room are large and close to abruptly, which slams and wakes you up. Ameniites for cooking in the siutes was very limited for pots and pans. If you need more ask reception. Had to ask for coffee filters, they seem to supply the minimum and not replace until someone asks. Housekeeping did all the dishes each day. Internet was 10rand/day, would be nice if it were free. Hotel laundry was expensive, use the laundramat next door. Staff was friendly and very helpful when ever needed. Overall a okay place to staynfor the price. Would recommend

“Rather tired, but convenient.”

Very good sized room and in a good location for the waterfront etc, but in need of some updating, in particular with all the fixtures and fittings that were falling off the walls. The reception staff were incompetent though polite. A hairdresser, iron and ironing board were provided when asked for. Toilet tissue seemed to be rationed and the kettle leaked - though generally the kitchen area was quite well equipped, and certainly better than the bathroom area (loose hooks, towel rails, shelves, shower head etc.) The "Do not disturb" sign made no difference - the cleaner came in anyway on two occasions. Please note that in our opinion this hotel would definitely not get four stars in the UK - maybe 2 or 3.
