Excellent B&B- -would highly recommend it but a 10 minute drive to Cape Town. Bus nearby - 10 rand and convenient to CIty Center.

“Comfort in Cape Town”

Spent a week at Cotswold House in the spring in Cape Town. Great room in a good location. The staff was wonderful and the owner helped arrange tours and transportation. Breakfast was great and and rooms very comfortable and very clean. The sitting areas are relaxing and grounds are beautiful with a pool and gardens. Close to golf, shopping, beach and an easy trip into downtown. Internet available in sitting areas. Proximity to R27 makes it easy to get anywhere quickly by car.

“Delightful Hideaway”

Cotswold House is a delight. The lady who operates the property iss just wonderful. Really has a special touch for comfort and cleanliness. The breakfasts were very nice and generous. The location is a few miles out of townx, but very quiet, safe with several nice restaurants walking distance...oh forgot to mention the ocean is less than 1/8th of a mile. The sunsets and view are breathless. It was too cool to use the poll but it looked very inviting and was spotless. This bed & breakfast was a great blend of old and new and very much a labor of love....Very much a value also.

“best place to crash after a hectic flight”

Cotswold house placed us in the lagoon lodge across the road instead of the guest house. The service was awesome, the bed was comfortable. This was a great place to base our travel in capetown. Only thing i found wrong was the design of the shower would leak water onto the floor of the bathroom. Apart from that it was very relaxing.

“Little know secret in Cape Town”

The B&B located in Milnerton is by far one of the nicest and cleanest one I have visited. The common rooms are plenty so even if you decide to just take it easy it would not be claustrophobic. Our guest room overlooked the pool and in the distant we could see the ocean. Very pleasant mornings and evenings with the sound of nature. The main road runs by in the distant and sometimes during the day it can get a little noisy as a truck or two passes by. The breakfast was excellent not to be missed at all. The owners were extremely accomodating and very friendly. One needs a cab to get to Cape Town and there are only limited facilities within walking distance. We would however go back in a heart beat. Can't wait to see how the new pond turns out; construction was just begining. All in all a great place to relax and take in Cape Town from a very safe and quiet neighborhood.

“A lovely bed and breakfast--with a big plus”

Very lovely setting-comfortable rooms. Full breakfast every morning-made fresh, with a smile and answers to questions and suggestions for local attractions. Bettina the owner went the extra mile for us during the Super Bowl-not a big deal in Cape town--but something we really wanted to watch. This gracious hostess invited us to her own apartment from 1am to 5am Cape town time, so we could watch our favorite team lose. We highly recommend this inn and its owners.

“Comfortable”

The only trouble we had was finding the hotel initially as even once we turned on the road it is on, went down a different street without realizing the direction of the street we should have been on. Once we found it, though, it was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is provided and is filling with options of yogurt, toast, eggs, mushrooms, coffe, tee, juice, fresh fruit salad, cereal. The management was helpful in giving tips of where to go and copied a map for us of the immediate area.

“Day Tripper”

Five day stay. Did day trips with a hire car and Gps. Good security (vital in South Africa). Handy to all locations including the city and surrounding bays. Visited Paarl and Stellenbosch vinyards. Stayed in a basic room in no 2 house over the road. Happy with the accommodation and pleasant staff. Good breakfast. May be worth paying a little more for the better rooms. No wireless connection at 19 Cotswold drive. Safer location than other places. Handy to restaurants and shops.

“I'd visit again”

The Cotswold House is certainly not the top of the line for accomodations in Cape Town, yet it is far superior to staying in a normal Hotel. the owner was very curtious and willing to help. Her breakfasts were excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. I had originally thought the location would be more rural and was immidiately disapointed by that. In the end, it was my error for not reading the website correctly. the Place is as advertised and for the money and excellent place to stay.
