“Will stay here again”

This hotel is conveniently located on the beach front. Bus stop to waterfront right outside front door. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was cleaned daily. Rooms were in good condition. I will stay here again when I return to Cape Town.

“Clean Rooms - Friendly Staff - A Great Price”

Excellent hotel facing a park and the Atlantic Ocean. No fancy ameneties but very nice place with a friendly staff. Few minutes from the V & A waterfront. We used the bus(3 rands to the waterfront) to go the center of the city and explore the place. There is super market at the other side of the block and we made breakfast in the kitchenette of our suite. They will arrange day tours for you too. Take a early morning walk by the sea. Overall all great place for this reasonably priced hotel.

“Would go back in the future.”

The staff was very helpful and took complete care of myself and my son. They arranged for a rental automobile, and were flexible in helping me on a number of other issues. I was very satisfied.

“A very special hotel in a very special city.”

There we was on our way to our holiday in South Africa and Cape Town, my wife and myself. We was both very tired after the long travel, but we quickly waked up and got quite exited when we discovered that our choosen hotel was on the first line to the beach, but still only minutes walk to center and shops. (The main tourist centre "Waterfront" was 10 there minutes with car). We checked in and got a bad surprise... our revervation done with Expedia was not accepted by the hotel. Still we got a room, and 2 days later we had a message that everything was now in order with our booking. Be aware that this hotel has 47 suites, but only 10 of them are seafront. Out of the 10 suites, 7 has nice terraces. The administration as well as the people serving the rooms was making our visit a real pleasure, and after a few days we was invited to move to a seafront suite with terrace as per our request... that made our stay! Also to mentioned is that the kitchen was a well working one, and that supermarkets was just up the street. This hotel does not yet offer Internet broadband or wireless.

“Good value pleasant suites, we would use again”

We enjoyed a first floor one bedroom suite with kitchen facilities, balcony and great sea view. Conveniently located on "Beach Road", easy access to all surrouding facilities, nearby shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff, so an altogether great choice and good base for out of town tourism in Cape Town. Wireless internet or computer/printer available. Breakfast at extra cost, we stocked up and self catered. Parking at extra cost. Best rooms face the sea.

“Very enjoyable”

We upgraded our room to a sea-view room with a balcony which made our stay absolutely perfect. All the staff were extremely courteous and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was everything we wanted, a healthy walk from the Waterfront and the buses were very convenient and frequent.

“Everything we were looking for.”

We spent 3 weeks in a self-catering apartment which provided everything we were looking for: excellent location for all Cape Town's attractions, wonderful sea view from our balcony (we even saw a whale blow out to sea one day!), friendly and helpful staff. We had arranged car hire and were pleased to have secure, dry parking (if for a small extra fee). The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and pleasingly furnished. Only minor complaint would be the degree of cooking smells from the hotel kitchen downstairs invading our bathroom! There were plenty of local supermarkets in the area for our self-catering needs as well as many take-aways and restaurants when we wanted a change. We enjoyed and excellent holiday and will return to Don Beach Road without hesitiation if we visit again.

Nice hotel with full kitchen and separate bedroom with free gated parking lot. Great ocean view after paying for upgrade. Friendly and helpful staff and daily room cleaning

“Good base for Cape Town”

Based in the resort of Sea Point just to the west of the City centre this hotel makes a great cost effective location to visit Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. Although some of the public areas look a bit tired the room was very large and clean (we got a complimentary upgrade) and had a kitchenette with rings and microwave making simple meals an option if you didn't want to visit any of the nearby restaurants. This was our fourth visit to Cape Town and we certainly thought this was a safe base within easy striking distance of the centre, the V&A Waterfront, Cape Peninsula and other attractions.

“Great place to stay!”

I booked this accommodation as a present for my parents. I was familiar with the area but not the accommodation and was hoping that it would make for a comfortable stay. My parents just came back from their holiday and couldn't be happier with the quality of the venue and the service. Everything was just perfect, friendly staff, great location and very clean!
