“Nice complement to a beautiful city”

Everything was excellent except for several small items and experiences with the responsiveness of Housekeeping staff. Hotel staff otherwise, were friendly and very helpful. Hotel Manager welcomed the constructive criticism and feedback on the responsiveness of housekeeping. Overall a fine hotel but somewhat out of the way, but convenient to tourist buses and the hotel shuttle to the waterfront was excellent complement to the location. Staff in the front of the house, restaurants and front desk were really very fine, helpful and knowledgeable. A well managed newer hotel getting better.

“Lives up to the Hilton Name”

Lovely hotel, great bar, pool, lobby and rooms and breakfast was excellent. Only slight drawback was the location - would have liked to be a bit closer to the water front (+20 min walk I'd say - we got taxis)....but I knew where it was when I booked so can't complain, and they do have a free shuttle service to the waterfront but I only saw that when we were leaving! It is 2 mins to Green sq market and Long street for all the bars so there are certainly things around. A real plus was that they didn't look down their noses at us when we walked in in our flip flops and rucksacks after a 3 week overlanding camping trip but were very welcoming! Would definitely recommend!

“Convenient for a quick trip”

Hilton city centre is ideal for business travelers or for tourists on a short stay in Cape Town. It is conveniently located 5 minutes from V&A, Long street (restaurants, flea markets etc.) and about ten minutes from the infamous Table Mountain. The hotel was neatly presented; staff were friendly and the room was clean. The only issues were: 1) house cleaning was at odd times and they would take the room key without any notification to guests, and 2) the breakfast buffet spread was poor for Hilton standards. Hopefully, the hotel will take this feedback into consideration. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
