“Hidden gem”

A side street location hampers acceptance of this gem of a hotel which is one block away from the oceanfront, close to tourist bus routes and provides outstanding service, buffet breakfasts that fill you for the day, and a 24 business center with free wifi.

“A really great boutique hotel”

The room was extremely small but with beautifull decor and furnishings. The service is impeccable and the food delicious.

“Very impressive”

The quality and service is very impressive and is resonant of that which you would experience in only the very best eastern and european hotels. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The rooms are spacious. Only drawback for some would be that it is not a first line hotel on the beach, however given the beach is less than a minute away and the hotel has a swimming pool and deck, this did not pose any problems. It's proximity to the V&A is useful. Breakfast buffet was extensive and the staff very attentive. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A wonderful boutique hotel set in a fantastic location at sea point in cape town. Great service from very friendly staff.

“Cape Town stay”

This was my first visit to Cape Town and I was extremely pleased with my hotel choice of hotel.Just a block from the seaside promenade.The hotels shuttle takes you to the V&A Waterfront area or to the convention centre. If you like a long walk in 40 minutes to an hour you walk to the V&A Waterfront. I felt completely safe all the time.

“Relaxed, friendly 5-Star experience”

As a frequent traveler experienced in '5-star' service, the 5 stars of the Le Vendome are the hotel staff who are friendly and warm, but not intrusive (as can so often be the case in premium hotels, where the room is serviced many times a day). This appropriately reflects the laid-back charm of Cape Town. Really have nothing to criticise!

“Great Hotel”

We stayed at Le Vendome for 4 nigts in Feb on our holiday, and despite some conflicting reviews, we had a great time. The staff we so friendly especially the Concierge. On arrival at the Hotel, the receptionist offered to move us to a better room free of charge without us even asking. Our room was a good size and beautifully presented. Breakfast had a large selection of croissants, fruits, fish as well a hot choices. Overall we really enjoyed out stay.

“A Gem”

An excellent 5* boutique hotel with great staff. The location is 5 mins away from the main V&A center but this is not at all inconvenient. On several occasions the hotel staff chauffeured us us FOC. The kitchen is excellent. Its is worth upgrading to get a slightly larger room.

“very good for the money”

The hotel is very good the location not so. the only problem i foud there is no hair drayer in the bathroom but other wise there is other extras including entrnet no charge.
