“Great value and good location”

Good points: Separate lounge and bedroom - loads of space kitchenette with fridge, hob and microwave/grill Good location within walking distance of the city centre and V&A Waterfront Comfortable bed with good quality linen Very clean Really helpful and friendly staff Secure under cover parking (at extra cost) Not so good points: The carpet was a bit warn in two of the doorways, and the sofa was a bit "tired" The pool is small and next to the main road. The hallways are quite small but this does not claim to be a 5*hotel - it really is very good value for money.

I felt the hotel was great value for money, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is within close walking distance to the V&A waterfront.

We were very satisfied with the hotel room - clean, quiet, well equipped. The staff were helpful and pleasant. No complaints. The hotel's location was about 15 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront. Safety had been a concern prior to the visit - we had no concerns with safety in the hotel or walking in the general area of the hotel.

“Good location for a fair price”

The hotel is in quite a good location. Facilities are good but the pool is a little disappointing. Overall I would probably recommend spending a little more and being on the waterfront area itself, but if you cant afford it this is a good option

Situated just outside the V&A, but a cab ride is only R200 (approx 2pounds). Staff are very friendly.

Good value and well situated between central Cape Town and the Waterfront, walking distance to each, albeit on a huge main road. Excellent choice if you want a comfortable place to stay and interested in exploring what Cape Town has to offer. If you want to hang out at the hotel and lounge around by the pool, there are better bets, but CT's beaches are so good we hardly used the pool anyway. Staff are really friendly too, can't do enough to help, but without being too in-your-face. Overall, v good.

“Definitely stayed in better hotels!”

This property has clearly been renovated on the cheap - really disappointing and feel it worth spending a little more to stay in a decent hotel. Check-in was almost comical - would be hard pressed to find anything nice to say about the experience!

“I got Robbed”

Money was stolen from my room. I had to file a police report at 2 AM in the morning. Additionally, the hotel booked the wrong excursion tour for us. Due to limited time in Cape Town, we had to book a tour last minute and pay a lot of money extra. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. It is better to pay a higher rent for room per night at some other hotel rather than get robbed here!
