“Great base for seeing the Cape area”

The hotel is excellent with good rooms with balcony (we had two as we were at corner of building) with view of sea. Secure underground parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. The adjoining Seven Spur restaurant was also a good facility with wide choice of menu. Will definitely return here.

“SEA POINT”

The Hotel is ideally situated just outside Cape Town and in a good location (great for running along the sea front). The Hotel is part of the Protea chain and as expected is of a good standard. I have stayed at this hotel three times now and would recommend it.

Being on my own I was very concerned but staff at this Hotel were very good at making me feel at ease.I felt safe as there was plenty of security.Staff were very helpful with luggage, charging my mobile as I didn't have the right adaptor,checking most mornings everything was ok.My room was small but very clean with everything I needed.My only moan would be about an alarm that went of in the night several times from the steak house next door because of people sleeping in doorway.Will certainly go back.

“Good Value for money”

I recently stayed at this hotel for about a week. The staff were really friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. The restaurant offers good food for reasonable prices and the bar is quite nice too. The only negative point is the swimming pool, its quite small. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location, close proximity to the promenade and a short taxi ride to all the attractions.....

the beach was not that great rocks at waters edge with sand to sit on it was close to evrything must be watchful at night on street great staff

“Pleasant hotel with reservations.”

My main criticism is the bathroom. The room was adequate for a single occupant as I do not like the idea of an open plan bathroom. The shower had a clear glass division and the handbasin was in the bedroom. The toilet was also behind frosted glass. This might be considered modern but does not suit many people!

“Friendly and an ideal base fro Cape Town”

This was a good location for seeing all of Cape Town. It was central for the V&A and the beaches. The hoetl its self was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. A good choice of breakfast set you up fot the day ahead. For those wanting to do a bit of fitness the gym was 1st class with plenty of jogging routes near by. The only down sdie was arriving early and not being able to check in before 2pm.

“Cheap n cheerful”

Standard budget hotel. Rooms small but clean. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Secure parking a great bonus and cheap. Would stay here again if on a budget.

“Lovely little hotel”

Great location, just across the road from the beach front (that is great and safe for jogging/walking), minutes from the sunbathing beaches of Clifton and a short drive from the waterfront. My room was very comfortable and kept very clean, if you don't have a sea facing room the view is pretty dull. But apart from that I had no complaints and was very content and pleased with my stay.
