“Shipshape”

We've stayed twice now at this hotel and we would recommend it to anyone travelling to Cape Town. It's a 2 minute drive to the V&A waterfront complex so both very convenient yet out of the noise and bustle. It's beautifully deisgned to resemble a cruise liner and despite the fact that it seems to be a *very* busy hotel (a mix of buisness and travellers) we were lucky enough to be upgraded on both occasions to glorious rooms with a spectacular view of both the water and Table Top Mountain. Radission SAS always seem to provide an excellent standard of service and this seems no different.

“Outstanding Service and Location”

This was our first trip to Cape Town. The Radisson is in a terrific location on the Waterfront, with a free shuttle to the nearby mall. Our standard room was quite large by American standards, with an extremely comfortable bed. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and always trying to please. This was one of our best hotel stays anywhere in the world.

“Great place to stay in Cape Town”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The location is great, the views from the rooms are fantastic. I had a room with aview of the small marina and the V&A waterfront, and spent hours on the blacomny listening to the waves and absorbing the beauty of the ocean and the harbour. Great to be so close to everything you want to see but still far enough from the crowds and the noise. The service is efficient and friendly. I do not think the interior is old-fashioned, not very personal and inspirational maybe (which is true of many hotels), but luxurious and comfortable for sure. One of the best beds I have ever slept in! Great breakfast. The only downside is of course that it all does not come cheap, but worth saving for. Would love to stay there again.

“Great hotel in Cape Town”

When planning a trip to Cape Town we looked at several smaller hotels on internet but found the reviews very variable so being concerned with what we would get there we decided to go for a 'big' name. It was a little more expensive for the package but well worth it. Hotel is well situated close to the famous V&A waterfront but not actually there so was nicely quiet. It had its own ocean side location with magnificent surf that could be viewed from a large patio area where one could eat and drink as well. The V&A waterfront was an easy 10 minute (or less) walk away and the hotel also ran a complimentary shuttle service every hour. Staff were very pleasant, attentive and helpful. Would definitely go there again. Only gripe was that even as resident I had to pay for parking but like a lot in South Africa this was inexpensive and not an issue in practice.

“Great Location and Service”

I came over to Cape Town for Business and also took some time to have a look around. The hotel was close to the V&A, so could go there for food and shopping.

The only bad thing was that on arrival the were overbooked and they tried to move us to another hotel.

“Back next year!”

The staff were great and the location was terrific. Not in the waterfront but this made it nicer. The waterfront is very busy and theme park like. The outside dining view is wonderful. Will be back next year.

The room and its view were fantastic. The evening meal let the whole experience down a bit. It took 45 minutes for the starter to arrive so the whole meal took a long time, so an early to bed for a very early start became impossible.
