“Classiest hotel on Waterfront”
The Victoria & Alfred has everything for a perfect city break. It's beautifully situated on the Waterfront with exquisite views of Table Mountain and harbour.[Mountain facing rooms only].Staff are helpful and there's a very efficient concierge service - nothing is too much trouble.Rooms are very comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious. The hotel now has a delightful private pool & garden area, 2 minutes from the hotel. It's quite expensive but a really special hotel.Excellent buffet and cooked breakfasts too.I have stayed at the V&A five times and I still recommend it.
“Victory and Allegiance at Victoria and Alfred”
Beautiful setting and location, historic building, great comfort and service. I found this place searching around on the web, and picked it as part of a Flight + Hotel package on Expedia. I was not disappointed. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. They even helped me track down the luggage that didn't make it with me to Cape Town. The breakfast, which was included, was outstanding and the restaurant had tables out on the boardwalk overlooking the waterfront.
“Cape Town, great hotel”
I loved this hotel. Very clean and great service. Walking distance to shopping and turistic sites. Many restaurants arround. Location, location, location.
“V&A Hotel was Great”
Had a wonderful stay at the V&A. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food was great. The loft room would not be my first choice if I stayed here again, only because the windows are small and not easy to see the lovely view from. If I had one complaint it would only be that the room was very cold and the a/c didn't seem to be that adjustable. I had to turn it off. Otherwise, the place was perfect.
“Great start to our holiday”
This hotel is in an enviable position right in the middle of the waterfront development with easy assess to dining and entertainment opportunities. The rooms are large and well appointed for a city hotel. The breakfasts are exellent with oysters and champagne on offer. The staff are very welcoming and eager to ensure you have a good stay.
“Already looking forward to 2nd visit !”
From the moment we were picked up in a hotel arranged car, to our departure, we were made to feel very welcome.Check in and out was very efficient, any queries dealt with there and then.We found the breakfasting staff to be very professional, helpfull and able to find the time to ask about our previous days activities. The food was very nice and set us up for the day, including the bucks fizz! Eating breakfast facing Table Top mountain, was a sight we'll never forget. Our room was a good size and kept clean during our stay, however the floor in the toilet area looked as if it had been missed when the last guests had left.Although we were right at the waterfront next to shops, bars, restaurants, we were never kept awake or woken up by noise. The daily entertainment provided by a mixture of young and mature musicians and dancers, enhanced our vacation.
“Fantastic location”
Very well located in the V&A Waterfront, fantastic view from the mountain-facing rooms. Very nice for a romantic getaway or short business stay.
“Highly Recommended”
Hotel is in an excellent location directly on the V&A Waterfront. However, at night the rooms are quiet. The staff make this hotel ans they are both efficient and friendly. Will definitely use this hotel again
