“Trendy and swank”

Great place with a good location - walking distance to the waterfront and only a short cab ride into downtown Cape Town. Very trendy decor with a fantastic breakfast area and a nice roof view. The rooms themselves are nice and modern, but don't expect any sort of view from them and mine in particular was quite dark.

I stayed at Villa Zest for a business trip and was impressed by the hotel and its staff. Nothing was too much trouble - including the sourcing of vuvuzelas to take back for the kids. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to order. 10 minutes walk to V+A waterfront but set back in a quiet side-road meant it was ideal. Would not hesitate to return.

The Villa Zest Boutique hotel is a really modern hotel, yet really charming, cosy and friendly (with only a small number of rooms). The staff has made us really welcome from the moment we walked in, until the moment we left (even packing a breakfast for us to take with us when leaving early morning to the airport).

A beautiful place to stay while in Cape Town, unfortunately only could have one night there, but if visiting again would definitely stay there. So handy to the V & A waterfront, and also walking distance into the CBD. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

This may sound odd but this hotel was almost too perfect and made us feel a little uncomfortable - hence the 4! I think it was seeing how much all the staff put them selves out for us which I'm sure many people love but we weren't used to! We were treated like royalty: the first drink was complimentary and bought to our room, when we asked for an iron they took my boyfriend's shirt and ironed it for him. They also booked our taxi for us and made recommendations of where to go. Unfortunately the waterfront location, which was a draw for us, turned out not to be so convenient after all, as of course, you must still get a taxi after dark, even though it is so close.
